Janet Jackson Performs In the Bahamas
Pop superstar, Janet Jackson held a mini-concert at the grand opening of the $1 billion dollar Cove Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. Jackson performed a string of her hits including ‘Rhythm Nation’, What Have You Done For Me Lately’, ‘Nasty’, ‘That’s The Way Love Goes’ and ‘All For You’. Her spectacular set ended with a never-before-seen fireworks display that lit up the 171 acre resort. The event, which took place on Friday night, attracted a number of high profile celebrities including Usher (along with fiancée Tameka Foster), Diddy, Michael Jordan, Kanye West, Tyra Banks and Ashanti. {Thanks Cleo for some of the pics}
The Jackson family females were also present to show their support. Rare appearances were made by mother Katherine Jackson and eldest sister Rebbie (in the orange) – who looks real good to be in her 50’s.
This was definitely the place to be; by all accounts, Janet tore the house down. I’m guessing that after seeing these, many will be calling for Janet to tour. However, she has reportedly stated that she is to start recording a new album this summer. I say she should pop out a few solid hits and then hit the tour circuit.

Janet never lost it…The Superbowl gig made her slide down a lil bit, but don’t get it twisted 20Y.O. was tight album. Virgin Records just didn’t promote it. Thank you for the pics…they are hot…

There is always someone who goin to say somethin negative just because of age why should she stop what she love she if u don’t like her that your promblem but olease respect her if it wasnt for her alot of these new people wouldnt be around and the fact that she still hear and people still love her and still wants to see her that great…..alot of artist wants what she have a longing career so….but I realize that people love to hate on whats great

My girl still have and I do not understand why people love to bring up age when madonna and so many others are still doin there thing Whitney is older than J and she is the best voice this industry has should she stop because of age let see Mariah should be 40 in three yrs or so should she stop NO if there is a want and still a love their than they shouldnt and how many of these younger artist will still be around 20 yrs later people in their younger teen still loves and no songs off her frist ablum but I do somethin u have to make your HATer your motivators(sp)because they are the reason why J is still around but what about the MEN and the industry Puff jamie LL are at 40 should they Stop I love the fact that people love to use her age for a reason when will stop letting age define who we are? for one person who says they don’t like her there is another one that loves her…she made a path for the younger generation she is a Legend and she is beautiful but I do know people HATE On real talent

I am in my 20s, young woman myself and I still love Janet no matter how old she is. Janet is a performer she set the trend for other young entertainers like her, so therefore she deserve respect. Yes Janet needs to think about building a family before she gets and older but that is her perogative. She’ll get there don’t worry about it. Love you Janet no matter how old some haters think you are and you look like you are in your 20s. What is her secret even I don’t have a knock out body like hers. I need Janet’s secret workout tips.

There is many of women that have babies in her mid 40 or whatever it is her life let her live it who is us to tell her what she needs to do and when she should do it we are not with her 24 7so let her live and be her if madonna can do it janet can because she is a strong person people love to tell others what they should be doin at a certain age when it is not there life Janet is a Legend she work hard and if she won’t to keep goin then who care what others think it is her LIFE
