She can sing, but she needs to upgrade her sound. I have liked Monica since her first album Miss Thang (her best album to this date). She actually sung with more passion on that first album. I'm sick of hearing her rap too. She need to just lay down some straight hardcore vocals and then I'll be checking for her. She seems to be stuck in a rut and not advancing with her sound.
