It seems the, somewhat, underwhelming opening sales of Rihanna’s new album ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ hasn’t affected her promotional campaign. The Def Jam star stopped by The View to perform her international smash ‘Umbrella’. Aside from the obvious technical issues, this is performance was disappointing; she didn’t seem all that into it and the vocals were kinda shaky.

Just as wack as all her other performances. I am glad the US showed the world we are not fooled by this wackness. A pretty face does not equate talent.

Wow…I think she and her band were initially thrown off by that irritating echo….but whatever. Another stiff, unemotional performance by Rhianna.

Rihanna is such a gimmick (as are a lot of other pop artists). She looks and acts as if she has no say in what she wears, how she does her hair, and how she performs. I understand that most pop artists are manufactured by a team, but she doesn’t add any of her personality or any of her own style to Rihanna the pop star.

Her voice wasn’t half bad, she’s really growing as an artist. I also didn’t see the audio “messing them up.”

I think that she did a good job
I like her and I think that people sleep on her becasue she has a differet sound but that is why I like her

i like the performance! Her vocals are obviously better when she’s not dancing, so she defiantely needs to work on that. My question is what took the sound person take sooo long to get that mic together. That’s unacceptable and looks bad on the View’s part.
