R&B songstress Teedra Moses has announced that her long-awaited sophomore CD ‘The Young Lioness’ has been pushed back (again) to next year. In a move to, perhaps, ease the angst of fans eagerly awaiting the album, Teedra has also confirmed that she will release another mixtape before the year’s out. Check out her MySpace post: hey yall. Just letting you know that my album is not coming out this year. It has been push to the top of next year. Not my decision but I ain’t mad. It is what it is. I really am ready for yall to hear it though!!! Its funny, industry people think every artist hates their label, but in my case their wrong. I don’t hate nobody. I just don’t quite understand their logic. But don’t cry for me Argentina. I’m soooo Goood!! I don’t put my faith in a label my faith is in God, who reminds to have faith in myself and my team. God has a plan for me so no weapons formed against me will ever prosper. I’m starting to work on a Christmas mixed Tape. I know that sounds novel which ain’t normally my angle, but I’mma put a sexy soulful twist on christmas… ya feel me!
TVT (Teedra’s label) really need to get it together. Its been two years or so since the CD was supposed to drop. If-when the album is released-they don’t promote it right, they would have done Teedra and her fans a serious injustice. I’m starting to think she’d be better off at another label.

She sure as hell needs another label, I don’t even know what made her join up with TVT in the first place. Only Pitbull is even making a small splash lately. I love Teedra so much, that I am perfectly willing to wait these almost 4 years for her next phenomenal album. I tell you, her music (which takes forever to come out) is worth it like A. Keys, instead of the mass-produced manufactured B******* we have to hear from Rihanna EVERY DAMN SUMMER!

I am eagerly awaiting The Young Lioness! I will wait though, Teedra is phenomenal. Still play her cd lots, would love to get my hands on any of her mixtapes.

she’s gonna pull a kelly rowland…talened as hell but label sucks and cd is pushed back so many times, nobody really cares anymore! i hope both her and kelly can bounce back because they sing s*** with meaning unlike alot of artists now a days!
I am so disappointed because Teedra is a REAL artist. She is simply amazing. I think she needs to sever ties with TVT because if they knew anything that album would have been out yesterday. She has a strong fan base and I am going to support her no matter what. Keep singing Teedra, we hear you!
I’d rather wait than have the album rushed out and not properly promoted. Honestly, she doesn’t need to get lost amongst all the other big names coming out for the last quarter. Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Hudson, Mariah Carey, Keyshia Cole, Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls & Madonna are some of the females expected to be dropping albums before the year is out. TVT knows they have something good with Teedra, it’ll be a project worked over time. At the top of the year they’ll be less released and she should be able stand out. Remember, it wasn’t until their later albums where TVT acts like Lil’Jon & Pitbull finally took off.

I am so looking forward to this new album and I feel that TVT is dusgusting.
Even if the album is not ready, I think they should start promoting her from now, to build up anticipation and add to her fanbase. I can assume those who have the 1st album will buy the 2nd.
