Upon hearing the snippet of Alicia Keys’ new single ‘No One’ last week, I was kinda sceptical about the track as well as the direction of her forthcoming album ‘As I Am’. However, having listened to the track in it’s entirety, I’m definitely liking it more. This soulful mid-tempo isn’t far removed from the sound she has channeled on her past efforts and is sure to please fans and critics alike. Alicia’s third studio album ‘As I Am’ hits stores November 13th.

It’s awful, what’s wrong with her voice?? It’s sounds strained, I like the song but her voice just doesn’t sound good. I worried for her and this new album.

yeah, her voice is alittle off! but thats the BEST PART OF THE SONG! YOU CAN TELL ITS COMING FROM HER HEART! The pain, the emotion! i love it so much.

I didn’t like it from the snippet, but hearing the song in it’s entirety – I must say that I like it. Like the person mentioned above I love the emotion in her voice. Great song, Alicia.

Her voice sounds…odd…strained and hoarse almost. Kind of like she’s trying to sound islandish also… hmmm…I don’t know about this one folks…

I love this song! If you don’t like this song but you like ANYTHING else on the radio something is seriously wrong with your ears! Go AK I can’t wait to cop that CD.

Sure, its something new from Keys. I’d much rather have this over something that typical. I hate to use her, but look at beyonce… She was all lovy duby with her first album. She came back with , wuts the name, Ring the alarm and people thought she was crazy, but people got use to it. Keys has a new sound and it sounds great. We all know she has a great voice, so her album is gonna be hott!
