Pretty Ricky – ‘Love Like Honey’ Video
Considering the fact that Pretty Ricky haven’t had a hit since ‘Your Body’, I’m kinda baffled as to why they’re still releasing singles. Anyway, ‘Love Like Honey’ is the third single to be lifted from the group’s current album ‘Late Night Special’. I watched the ‘Access Granted’ for the vid on BET last week (I’m still here in LA) and couldn’t stop laughing. Evidently, the guys don’t take themselves too seriously, hence why they can get away with an overly tacky video like this. On the plus side, the song isn’t bad at all.

on the contrary I think the lyrics are cheezier than the video. I mean it has a nice flow to it but the lyrics are pretty cheezy. They remind me of a nasty version of BoyzIIMen mixed with a nastier version of Dru Hill.
I dunno….they just seem like a really old boy band. Maybe I perceive them that way because boy bands don’t really seem to be in right now. I dunno.

A few bars in and I turned it off. It just makes me wanna hear the real thing, “Love Scene” by Joe, which they bit the melody for the chorus from. – Alexis

I think too many people give them credit 4 their lookz. Dont get me wrong they’re fairly attractive young men but I mean really. I do like their music but the videos kill me.
