Pleasure Parts Ways With Pretty Ricky
From left to right: Slick Em, Baby Blue, Spectacular and PleasureIt has been confirmed that Pleasure (aka “the one who sings” lol) has severed ties with Pretty Ricky. Speaking via his MySpace, he had the following to say:
HEY YALL I WANT TO ADRESS SOMETHING TO YALL. I LOVE EACH AND EVERYONE OF MY FANS AND I WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING TO UPSET YALL AND DISSAPOINT YALL. I WANT TO APOLOGIZE TO ALL OF MY BALTIMORE FANS. I WANT TO SAY THAT IT IS TRUE I HAVE BEEN REPLACED BY SOMEONE ELSE IN THE GROUP PRETTY RICKY, SO IF YOU SEE THE GROUP ON STAGE ITS NOT ME BUT ANOTHER PERSON. I LOVE MY BROTHERS AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE THEM WE HAVE NO BEEF BUT I FEEL ITS TIME FOR ME TO GIVE YALL WHAT YALL BEEN WAITING FOR A R N B ALBUM!!!! IF IT WASNT FOR PRETTY RICKY THEY WOULD NEVER BE NO PLEASURE P. IM NOT HERE TO DISS THE GROUP, BUT IM HERE TO LET YALL KNOW WHATS GOING ON… IM WORKING ON A ALBUM JUST FOR MY SUPERSTARS AND ILL ALSO BE IN A CITY NEAR YOU TO COME AND VISIT YALL!!!!

I never use to like pretty ricky untill their recent album came out ( i forgot the name) but i was listening to all the longs and I realize Pleasure could really do without the Rest of those no-names ( i dont care too much for them). He has a great voice and he should be sucessful because he said he wants to creat RnB, i guess he realized he couldnt change the group so he just left. Mine you, he said REPLACED. He was REPLACED AFTER the fact he “LEFT”. He just didnt want to word it better. But yeah, I’m happy for him and if his music is good , I WILL be buying

wow i know most leaders of groups wanna go solo in pleasure’s case i knew he would he was the only singer the other three were just rappers man i don’t like pretty ricky but i listen to there last album & we’ll pleasure song he’s ass off I thought they would do one more cd before they broke up but damn he’s going for his shit he’s sounds better then trey song, Mario, omarion, j-holiday, & Chris brown so i think he’s got a chance.
I think he can really be a success
but only if he’s comes out with some music thats fire.

He’s got a pretty strong fanbase too. Young girls LOVE hime. So we’ll see..
The RNB market isn’t quite as over crowded as it seems particularly if you look at thse who are really singing RNB and not Pop or Hip Hop

I’ve listen to his new stuff and it not that good. The music that the group has put out since his departure is way better than what I’ve heard from him!! He may have been the only singer in the group but as history has proven (i.e. Destiny’s Child, En Vouge, New Edition,…)his spot can easily be replace. 4-Play, the new memeber, is accually a good vocalist. In Pretty Ricky’s new video he looks real good and fits in nicely. In my opinion, Pleasure P was just an ok singer and if he wants to make it as a solo artist he has a lot of work to do. His brothers aren’t there to bac him up anymore and you can tell the differences in his music. It just sounds like it’s missing something. IKD, I’m just rambling on here but the boy needs to really step his game up!!!
