Soulja Boy Performs ‘Crank Dat’ & ‘Soulja Girl’ On Jimmy Kimmel

Published: Saturday 6th Oct 2007 by Sam

With ‘Crank Dat’ spending it’s fourth non-consecutive week atop of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Soulja Boy is definitely riding the wave of success. The 17 year old stopped by the Jimmy Kimmel show recently to perform the smash hit as well as the follow-up ‘Soulja Girl’. For both performances, he was joined by drummer Travis Barker. Though nothing groundbreaking, Barker kinda added a different vibe to each performances. Soulja Boy’s album ‘SouljaBoyTellEm.com’ is in stores now.

What do you think of the performances?

A lot of people are downing this kid but I think he is talented and has some smart business people behind him. Now I’m not about to go out and buy the CD but I actually think he may sell pretty good. He should do a new video with Travis Barker on them drums, and release the track to radio as a remix, cause those drums are sick!! Sick meaning good!
