New Song: Kelly Rowland – Daylight (ft. Gym Class Heroes) (Snippet)
A snippet of Kelly Rowland’s new single ‘Daylight’ (ft. Gym Class Heroes) has surfaced. The track, which is set to be the singer’s new single, goes for adds on radio in January. It sounds promising, although I will reserve full judgement until I hear the track in its entirety.

It doesn’t sound as great as I hoped. I think she should’ve stuck with SILWMX. That song is unique and different. Even I’ve fallen in love with it and I haven’t even got an ex to relate it to. This song is for a soundtrack so she should’ve had SILWMX for herself.
Anyway I’ll reserve my final judgement for when I hear the whole thing. I pre-judged on JLo’s album based on 30sec snippets, and now I can listen to almost the whole thing, so who knows…

why does every blog keep reporting that this is her lead single when it’s not? it’s a song off the soundtrack for a movie! her lead single for the rerelease is still in love with my ex!

^I thought this was now the lead single. I swear I remember reading that she changed it to this one. Even on a popular DC3 forum they’ve switched over to this one so this is probably the lead single.

This a great song from the Bobby Womack Catalogue which is hotter than ever (across 110th street from American gangster, Mariah’s We Belong together, If you think you’re lonely now). Sound’s good so far.
I wouldn’t bet against it.

this isnt the lead single its a movie soundtrack i heard her say it herself in an interview she did for mtv. i think the movie she’s doing it for is called “asterix”.

This shit is WHACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m so disappointed in her!!!!! Her Ms.Kelly album had WAY better songs. I love Kelly Rowland but this shit is whack as hell. She needs to do something. i don’t think this song stands out and it’s boring. if she was smart and released “work” ; ” comeback”, which are both club remixable songs, she would of did well with just those two tracks.
Come on KELLY , WTF IS GOING ON WITH YOU!!! .. Promote Ms.Kelly and Release Work, Comeback and Still In Love With My Ex!!!!

This song isn’t that bad, but I do love me some GYM CLASS HEROES! They’re playing 4 special FREE instores in Albuquerque, Phoenix, San Diego and Las Vegas.
