The long-anticipated video for the Spice Girls comeback single ‘Headlines’ premiered tonight on the BBC1. For all the hype and whatnot, I think it turned out pretty decent.
Wasn’t impressed! I like the song but this video was crap – too much contrived sexy posing and absolutely no meaning to this video. They could have done so much more very disappointed!
i wasnt really interested in the song, it’s good because it’s like they’re proclaiming their friendship for each other but I wasn’t really feeling it, maybe the next single will be more of a hit than just of a “we’re back” song.
The video i liked because it was just refreshing to see them again singing together, all 5 of them. I don’t even refer to them as their AKA’s anymore because they’re much older and their aka’s are kind of ‘immauture’ for them now.
Mel C and Emma I think are the best singers. I liked Mel since ” Viva Forever” and I still like her now. She has the best and unique out of the 5. Emma, I liked her during her solo career, she did well.
Victoria, i only remember one hit ” let your head go” i think it’s called, nice fun track but it was the only one i remember seeing a video she did. She needs to get her own part in a song, instead of singing mixed with the others, it’s like the old days when she just looked good instead of singing so you can hear her voice.
Mel B, she should sing the hooks, and Geri, i dunno, she’s watever. I still like the spice girls as a whole, brings back memories.
It’s hard to imagine that this is the official “Children In Need” Charity song. It just looks like a desperate attempt to me. The songs lame, so get your kits off & hope that the viewer/listener will be distracted by this poor attempt of a comeback. AWFUL!!! Poor Mel C she must be so ashamed that she agreed to the reunion!
