From The Vault: Aaliyah – ‘Rock The Boat’
Going back to 2001, this week’s ‘From The Vault’ video is the late Aaliyah’s ‘Rock The Boat’. As I’m sure you know, the video was filmed just hours before the R&B star tragically died in a airplane crash, along with several in her entourage. Arguably one of her best efforts, this video gave us all a glimpse at the makings of a superstar.
Gone, but never forgotten, Aaliyah’s legacy lives on through the great music her undeniable talent graced us with over the years.

She was truly an angel on earth.
Though her life was brief, she accomplished in her few years, what many never achieve, and she touched so many with her beautiful spirit.

I Love her soooooooo much… Music is missing her alot right now… would this pop sound be this big??? If timbo still had aaliyah…. I dont know. She was the best and still to this day her shit will blow have these sorry records out the water

According to my calculations she would have released another 3 albums by now. Or at least starred in another movie. Like I cannot watch matrix – it seems unfulfilled without her.

Aaliyah touched the lives of many people while she was on earth. An extrodinary talent that can’t be compared to any other. Her sound, style, fashion, and personality is unlike any other. We will miss the beautful, talented, outstanding, and one in a million star.

Aaliyah is my #1! I have humongous posters of her on my walls, and I love that girl. I was wrecked when she left us.
She was living proof of how much you can do with your life, if still here she’d only be 28 but she would have the most succesful carrer EVER! She already sold 40 Million. And I STILL litsen to all her music. More so her AALIYAH album.

Yeah I watched the other videos as well Aaliyah was a bad ass dancer and her videos told a story and you could relate none of this pointless ass shaking Aaliyah was straight classy,
