Jennifer Lopez – ‘Hold It Don’t Drop It’ Video

Published: Tuesday 4th Dec 2007 by Sam

The video for Jennifer Lopez’s new single ‘Hold It, Don’t Drop It’ premiered exclusively on MTV yesterday. Directed by Melina (who also directed many of the vids from the ‘B’ Day Anthology’), the video actually turned out pretty good. Considering she is several months pregnant, I didn’t expect to see her moving like that. Having said that, the song is still garbage and, without sounding too fatalistic, I don’t really it rescuing the album’s (‘Brave’) terrible sales.

What do you think of the video?

dis video is pure hotness. this song is no way near wack. my girl is looking so fly and s***, and she’s how many months preg? her moving was great, although somewhat limited. her body, from da back of course, is bananas! this song and video CAN definitely resurrect her album, which is not a bad album. i bet if u were 2 blast this song in the privacy of your car or home, you would be boppin your head to it b/c, believe it or not, its a banger! mad props 2 my girl Jenny Lo for doing something different and doing it well!

I like this! I never bought her album but i downloaded some of the tracks and they were not bad at all. She’s workin it in this video, its clean, simple and effective – the track is different to anythin out there just now; kinda 70s disco club banger. al b blazin it anywayz lol… u gotta give perks to Jlo, she one of the few female artists out there who has the true ‘x factor’

This is the video to breathe new life into the album. While many people may not like the song, I feel the video is effective in hooking the viewer. This video should resurrect the album.
