New Song: Sean Paul – ‘Pepperpot’
It’s been a minute since we’ve heard anything from Jamaican crossover star Sean Paul. A stalled attempt at returning to the limelight last year came in the form of ‘Watch Dem Roll’, yet things kinda went quiet after that. This new track titled ‘Pepperpot’ is slated to feature on Sean’s forthcoming LP, the follow-up to 2005’s Platinum certified ‘The Trinity’. I’m kinda on the fence about this one; it’s an easy on the ear, summer sounding track. Saying that, it doesn’t really have that ‘ummph’ that his previous singles have had, leaving me wondering how his album will fare if this is what it has to offer.
