Wow i really hope this is true. Ive always been a massive Amerie fan.. Her talents going to waste at the moment at columbia because they’re not supporting her in any way and thats whats holding her back. If she had the support of her label then people wouldnt be sleeping on her. To me Amerie seems like her own person and has her own style and thats what attracts me to her music. I just hope that this rumours true for her and her fans.

omg i hope this is true! amerie is an amazing talent who was wasted through not enough promotion. she has had amazing songs that never did that well (1 thing, touch, take control) in the us becacauseuse of columbia. she’s a youthful, fun artist and seeing what def jam has done with rihanna, i have every hope that amerie will finally be the huge star she deserves to be!!!

Amerie is great. She brings different concepts to her albums. Why people sleep on her, I don’t know, but if she joint Def Jam, they’ll bring her to where she needs to be. good luck.
