Fantasia & Leona Perform At Clive Davis Party
As reported, the legendary Clive Davis hosted his annual Pre-Grammy Award party last night in LA. Two of the night’s big performers included Fantasia and UK singing sensation Leona Lewis. Fantasia performed ‘I’m Here’, a song from her stint as Celie in the Broadway adaptation of ‘The Color Purple’ (she recently wrapped up her time on the show) and Leona belted out her record breaking single ‘Bleeding Love’. Woah! She really took it to CHURCH on that one. She S-A-N-G! Could have done without some of the vocal rifting at the end, but who cares, it’s Fantasia. Good stuff.
Leona Lewis – ‘Bleeding Love’
Great performance. I felt proud of her; having watched her get her big break on the X-Factor and now performing (and nailing it) in front of her industry contemporaries, it really hit me that she is destined for big things – and deservedly so. She is an amazing talent.

You betta SANG Fantasia! That was singing heffa. I LOVE her. The Leona chick was good, kinda boring but good.

Leona did great. I know she was nervous, but she pulled it through.
Fantasia is Fantasia, fabulous with tons of stage presence.

I love leona but that performance was vocally way off compared to some of her earlier performances of the song (ie on x factor and divas live, she also had a strange accent when she said “bleeding” which normally she doesnt have, its not a big deal and I’m guessing she was nervous, overall it was good

FANTASIA TORE IT DOWN, I STILL HATE HER HAIR AND HER COUNTRY BUMPKINESS, THAT HOLDS HER BACK FROM THE TOP, HER VOICE IS GOLDEN.
LEONA WAS WAAAY OFF OFF, I MEAN I’VE HEARD HER BELT IT BUT THIS WAS STRANGE WITH HER VOICE. MAYBE SHE WAS SICK, NERVOUS, BUT DAMN LEONA, PULL IT TOGETHER, THIS WAS BORDERLINE UNLISTENABLE BECAUSE SHE SEEMED OFF AND I MEAN THE HYPE ISN’T WORTH IT CUZ I’M NOT FEELING HER!!

Leona was alright… she has nothing on Fantasia or 90% of the artists in that room. She can sing her ass off and im a fan but im only ever impressed with the endings of her songs… all the verses are so shakey.

fantasia sounded fantastic,i will always be a fan of hers if she continues to sing like that…i mean it was supurb
didnt listen to leona but i will later i guess.
