I will be interviewing D. Woods from R&B/Pop collective Danity Kane tomorrow (fourth from left). Apologies for the short notice, I’ve just received confirmation of this a few moments ago. Currently starring in the latest instalment of the show that catapulted them to stardom, MTV’s Making The Band, D. Woods and her Danity Kane bandmates are set to release their sophomore effort ‘Welcome To The Dollhouse’ on March 18th via Bad Boy/Atlantic Records.

1) IS THE NEW CD MORE DIVERSE IN THE VOCAL DISURSEMENT? THE LAST RECORD SOME GIRLS (SHANNON, SOMETIMES AUBREY) DIDN’T GET MUCH VOCAL SHINE AND SOME TOO MUCH (DAWN, NOT COUNTING BACKGROUNDS BUT LEADS)
2) IS DANW THE LEADER, I SAW THE EPISODE THAT DIDDY ASKED HER TO DO VOCAL PRODUCTION?
3) WHAT ARE YOUR REFLECTIONS ON THE JOURNEY THE GROUP HAS MADE? THERE’S MUCH MORE COHESIVENESS ON THE STAGE, THE VOCALS ARE STILL, BUT MORE AMAZING, YOUR BODIES AND STAGE PRESENCE IS AMAZING!!

1. On the show you and the rest of Danity Kane walk down the steet with no body guards or anything. Have you guys ever felt scared that some “crazy” fan might come up to you?
2. How do you guys know who’s voice is best for a track?
3. You guys have said that Shannon is the mama of the group but there is also the kids in a family. Who do you think is more like the kid who values the mother’s opinion but still makes there own choice? Who is like the kid who can’t stray away from their mother’s opinion?
Who is the kid who doesn’t care for their mother’s opinion? And who is last but not least the person who feels “obligated” to stand by their mother with the idea? (if you get what I mean.

1) I heard you worked with Nate “Danja” Hills on a track you and the ladies wrote called “Striptease.” What was it like working with him in the studio?
2) Your first single “Damaged” was produced by The Stereotypes; how did you and the girls come to working with a virtually unknown producer?

My first question for you D. is do u feel that diddy promotes danity kane like an artist should be promoted. I feel like he dosent, because damaged was released like 3 weeks ago, and thats a great song i’ve played it on my itunes 1256 times. Any ways i havent seen any promo or video from u gals except from trl. Plz be honest because a lot of ur fans think so. You girls would have gone gold if diddy had promoted yall rite.
My second question is did you girls come up with the concept for the new cover shoot. to be honest the “WELCOME TO THE DOLL HOUSE” cover is hot but, it dosent follow the concept of the title. I thought yall would have put on some crazi make up and wardrobe and just pop out of a dollhouse.
