I took them at that and stopped watching minus rare occasions (BET awards, BET honors). The programming is improving, but something about it just feed the ignorance ie College Hill). Not with every movie being about a gangster, or someone either in jail or coming out of jail, or a drug dealer. They had a chance to do a documentary about some positive role models, instead, we get a show about famous black gangsters? Tv is like junk food, you are what you eat. As a result we have generations of people who strive for nothing more than to be a pimp, dealer, or a gangster. And young women are not exactly learning to have a lot of respect for themselves from what they are exposed to either. Haven’t faithfully watched the channel in years.
