British chart-topper Estelle performed her smash ‘American Boy’ on The Friday Night Project a few weeks ago. She nailed it! Great performance. The band really added an extra dimension to the already awesome track. ‘American Boy’ has occupied the top spot on the Official Singles Chart here in the UK for the last three weeks.
What do you think of the performance?

Listen…I ain’t tryin’ to hate but after her comments re: “white” soul singers gettin’ all the praise…I’m turned off. As an african american I can’t take that stuff. Plus I’m sorry..w/o Kanye she’d simply be doin’ her thing right now. Piggybackin’ is what I’m saying…I’m lovin’ a lot of stuff comin’ out the UK but not Estelle. Done.

Well, I totally get what she means. Whether you agree or not she has the right to articulate her feelings.
