I’m not trying to hate on Leona…but I can definitely see Simon telling the producers, “I Want FIRE and GLITTER and LIGHTS everywhere and SPARKLES, I want America to know that I CREATED this Masterpiece and I am responsible for Everything Leona IS!!” That’s why I’m not completely sold over her yet, because everytime I hear her, I hear Simon!!! Does Mariah Carey and Tommy Mottola ring a bell???

That's what I like, when they perform it and they add a lil extra favour rather than singing it straight like the CD. The performance was special... She has finally reached Artist level in my eyes, thats all it took lol.

This is kind of weird, but I liked Leona more when only the UK knew about her. I’m American, but I knew about her early because I am very up there when it comes to entertainment…I watch the X-Factor. It’s annoying listening to this hype about her in the US. It’s like….Yo, I’ve known about her for ages, I don’t need you to tell me how great she is. It gets really annoying after awhile. I don’t mind conformism, but I like things more when they’re less mainstream.

Luke read! i said everyone of the winners should have been given a chance and i made no comparisons! how do you know what the American public would’ve liked? See the deal is that Simon should be aiming for worldwide stars all the time, i actually remember Simon saying that Shane was international and a U.K version of Justin Timberlake so he must of had some faith in him back then

She did good, I ain’t even go lie. But yall don’t have to compare her to Mariah or Whitney. Because this is a BIG DIFFERENCE Between them and Leona. YES, Leona nailed every note and sounded IDENTICAL to her studio version.

But when Mariah and Whitney sung live in their early careers, those two women not only sounded identical to their studio version, but they actually sounded BETTER!!!!!!! They are the only two that changed their notes and made it sound new at EVERY live performance, especially Mariah!! Leona is lacking originality in her performances (though still good), she’s just not deviating away from that studio record like Mariah would do. Now once Leona starts hitting extra high notes and doing more runs that’s not in the stuio version, only then can she be considered a superb Live performer!! But I’m sure she’ll achieve that. She just need to watch and learn from Mariah a little more, lol!!
