As Cassie continues to ready her sophomore effort for a September release, the currently untitled LP’s first single ‘Official Girl’ surfaced today. While I’m surprisingly liking the Danja produced song, my expectations were a little higher – considering Diddy’s recent hyping of it, as well as the brilliance that was her only claim to fame ‘Me & U’. Good, but not quite good enough. {Thanks Yan!}

This song isn’t all hot,but it’s ok.It’s not all appealing.She should switch labels from Ryan Leslie next selection to someone else,that would take her vocal type to a next level.The instrumental is kinda hot but she didn’t murder the track.

I’m disappointed. Diddy was lying when he said she’d surprise. The lyrics of this song aren’t great (Keri’s writing is getting old fast) and she sounds like she’s “rapping” more than singing. This is coming from a Cassie fan. Me & U was much better. This beat is weak and generic.

Hmm…i’ve listened to Karina Pasian’s version n i don’t think it’s better…Cassie still has a better melodic voice…though i luv Karina’s Can’t bring me down i still prefer Cassie on this…

i luv this song so much i listenin to it everyday i dont know why ppl hating on her and karina is over doing the other official girl song cassie has a nice little voice that is unique thats why i like certain artist becuz the unique voices they have.
