New Song: Teairra Mari – ‘No No No’

Published: Monday 21st Apr 2008 by Sam

Teairra Mari - 'No No No'Former ‘Princess of The Roc’ Teairra Mari is currently prepping her Interscope debut for a summer 2008 release. In the meanwhile, the album’s first single ‘No No No’ has surfaced (via YBF). Though hardly groundbreaking, I’m liking this. The gritty hard-hitting production, as well Teairra’s flow make for a real solid track; her runs toward the end really highlight her growth vocally. Good stuff.

Hit or Miss?

Miss! Miss! Miss! Nothing original about this track, nothing distinctive about her voice, it sounds like a left over from her first album, it sounds like she’s trying too hard… it sounds like it could be Ashanti or Christina Milian!

    I’m happy she’s back!!!!!!

When her, Amerie & Rihanna did that tribute to Destiny’s Child, she was the best one by far!!!!!!

Oh and I got her first album… lol
    (phone-booth was a tune!!)

BEING DROPPED FROM ROC-A-FELLA WAS A STRAIGHT UP BLESSING FOR HER! JAY-Z ONLY KNOWS HOW TO PROMOTE HIMSELF…TM NEEDS TO THANK GOD FOR THAT BLESSING!

TRACK IS COOL. WISH HER MUCH SUCCESS

Didn’t Jay-Z play a reasonably strong role in promoting Ne-Yo and Rihanna so they could get where they are right now? :S

Come on, Jay-Z seems to screw over alot of the artists on his roster, but he knows how to promote when he puts in the actual effort (or at least he knows talent when he sees it).

On Teairra Mari, though – love this girl, thank God she’s back. This song’s not one of her best, but it’s nice enough.

it’s cool, sounds like the trend thats spreading these days in r&b….you know the catchy hook and the raw beat….

i have her last album and it was pretty ok,i still will never forgive her for not putting out phone booth or act right but i’m glad she is showing people that she is working on something and she didnt disappear.

day in and day out this blogger makes it clear he knows nothing about music

i mean , ive noticed everything you tend to “like” is always a load of crap, and the runs at the end are so studio created its not even funny
i heard about one natural run, all he rest, created!!

EER her name sounds like ciara!
    how confusing.
bad syle of production, it makes her sound out of tune, even though she can actually sing i reckon, poor girl, this will FLOP
