I've never heard of this person except for on the comments section on blogs. I just watched a video on You Tube ("Take Me Away") and I don't really know what she's doing but it doesn't seem similar to Rihanna's style at all. Now, I'm not here to argue that she's the best thing in music, but her music is fun and she's in her own league right now. She came out very young so of course her handlers were going to bring her into the market where they thought she would do well. When that didn't work, they changed it up. Why is it such a big deal? Didn't Toni Braxton's handlers start her out imitating Anita Baker? Didn't Mariah Carey stray from the "Vision of Love" sound to more catchy pop tunes featuring the latest rappers. This is a business people. How much input was Rihanna going to be able to give being a 16 year old from Barbados trying to survive in an American market? Sorry for the long post.
