BET Awards 2008 Nominations Announced
The nominations for the 2008 BET Awards were announced yesterday (May 15th).Rapper T-Pain leads the pack with 5 nominations. Kanye West and Keyshia Cole received three nominations a piece. While Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, and Flo Rida received two each.
The UK’s own Estelle received a nomination in the Best New Artist category.
Confirmed performers for the June 24th ceremony include Mariah Carey, Usher, Lil’ Wayne, Mary J. Blige and Nelly.
Granted T-Pain’s success is undeniable, it says a lot about the industry when he is leading the field among artists whose talent far outweigh his.

T-Pain sux his voice annoys the hell out of me and how the hell is leading the pack with 5 nominatios? what songs has he put out this year? his album came out in 07 Kanye has music out right now and his music is good even though his album came out in 07 radio is still playing his songs BET awards are going to be lame this year I can already tell

YO THEY SOOOO SNUBBED MY GIRL RI RI, I MEAN DAMN T-PAIN GOT 5 NOMS..SHE DESERVES AT LEAST 3 NOMINATIONS…BECT COLLABO FOR UMBRELLA, BEST VIDEO UMBRELLA OR HATE THAT I LOVE YOU…AND BEST FEMALE…DAMN THEY DID HER WRONG

good 2 see estell in there but i agree with the t-pain ish i like round this time last year but doing a beyonce on ppls tracks dont work i really dislike him now even though i like kiss & get loose but hey its not just him on those tracks
