I know that’s right. Do not hate on the accent. I am from the south and at times my accent shines through. LOL!! Much as I hate to admit it, her appearance does have a lot to do with her success. I laughed at the “long flowing blonde hair” though. She has hella lacefronts all of which she utilizes well.
Singers like Heather Headley, India.Arie probably do not get the notoriaty as she does because of their skin color (not to mention being scantily clad most of the time) and that is pitiful. I am of “high yella” complexion and most equate the color with beauty which is insane.
