Cherish – ‘Amnesia’ Video

Published: Wednesday 7th May 2008 by Sam

With Cherish’s new LP ‘The Truth’ due next Tuesday (May 13th), the video for the album’s 2nd single ‘Amnesia’ premiered on BET yesterday. I guess it serves its purpose, however, having heard the album in its entirety, there are many a single that could have been chosen over this. Making the situation worse is the fact that the label are doing an appalling job of promoting the project. Best of luck to them – they’re going to need it.

What do you think of the video?

The girls look very pretty in the vid, but I don’t see what it has to do with the song..

I think Love Sick should have been chosen as a first single rather than Amnesia, but I do like this song..They have great vocals..I wish they would get promoted a little more though..

The concept for the video has nothing to do with the song. I thought they said it was about wanting to love your new man but you can’t because of past hurt and unless you have amnesia you won’t be able to. Now where the hell was that scenario. I love me some cherish though I agree this should not have been a single. I’d didn’t even like killa when it came out. This project will go down the drain if they don’t step it up. I will get their album though, I love em.

Bloggers and ya’ll wonder why there are no groups out. S*** be happy you have at least three out damn instead of complaining about what song they should have put out.Destiny’s child was they best group. Understand they each have the whole solo package and that’s what the did went solo.

Maybe the budget went on hair and make up…. or just hair.

    It’s a very nice ballad..

R&B Heavy it deffinitely is not something that is getting plays over here in the U.S.

They are playin the more dance R&B synth heavy music.. Which is cool.

But i like da fact the Cherish is staying true to who they are and their R&B roots and Sound. They look beautiful.

It reminds me of N*Sync’s GONE video!!! the whole black and white slow motion thing..

umm….yeah the video doesn’t go with the song at all…but maybe the pain she is feeling is due to all the money she has to put out for gas for that car seeing that it is 16 mpg city and 21 mpg highway lol. but s*** he seemed like a good man staying at home and playing video games, i have a hard enough time just getting a man that wants to stay home, and s*** if he bought me a damn car i wouldn’t be tryna forget his ass, i would be all up in them pockets like a golddigger on rich white man about to die. she better take some tips and go back to that n****.
