Whitney Performs In Morocco
Though the video quality was pretty rubbish, I really enjoyed her performance. Obviously not her best vocal showing, however she has evidently come leaps and bounds vocally in comparison to some of her performances in the last few years. Watching this really offers hope that she may still be able to serve up the goods with her new album (due November).
What do you think of the performance?

Can’t wait for the new album, as long as she leaves out Akon and Will.i.am and keeps Eric Hudson, Ne-Yo and most of all Timbo/Jim Beanz/The Clutch, this album will be fire!
“Just Whitney” was SO overlooked. “Dear John Letter” and “One Of Those Days” are 2 of my fave all time Whitney tracks!

that bitch was out of breathe, raspy, hoarse, and about ot pass out. And how many times can she shop “I Will Always Love You” around? It’s been 16 years and she’s STILL singing it like it’s new. NOBODY WANTS TO HEAR IT

Terrible performance. Got to agree with Luke though that ‘Just Whitney’ was a solid album, with my fave Whitney track ‘Things You Say’.

well i disagree Jer because if people go to whitney houston performances they are gonna want to see her sing her hit song… shes clearly not how she used to be vocally so by her singing a song that people love already kind of softens the fact that she cant sing it as well as she used to..
i have to say this is a performance you would expect of a 75 year old diva…but at the same time, this is such an improvement considering how bad her voice has been in the past..there has been much worse performances of this song so im kinda happy shes getting better..i think thats as good as its gonna get though

Vocally, Whitney still has it..trust..you can hear in her runs at the end..the control and power are still there. Big ups to her for being brave enough to keep going…Go ahead Whit! Shut it down.
