Mary J. Blige Foots Bill For Young Shopper
Mary J. Blige showed her generosity whilst on a visit to New York recently. Check out the report via the NY Post:
MARY J. Blige has a heart the size of her record sales. Last week, Blige was at the Diane von Furstenberg store in the Meatpacking District when she overheard a girl having a problem at the register. A spy said, “The girl had a dress on hold that she loved, and the bill was $900. She thought it was only $500, and she couldn’t afford it.” Blige told the saleswoman, “Go get the girl. I want to pay for the balance on the dress.” The customer at first declined Blige’s offer but relented after the singer said, “I know what it’s like to want something and not be able to have it. I insist.” The customer wanted to send her a check for the balance, but Blige said, “Just enjoy it. I’m blessed, so let me do this.”

i’m not impressed. she helped pay for an expensive dress (not wedding). yes it was nice of her, but it certainly doesn’t move me.

If im blessed all i would waunt a do is share my blessings.I think theres nothing wrong with that.Its bad when people cant even see a blessing an take it for what its worth.We all need two look at that man in the mirror.RELLY!

awwww. Mary is so awesome, and no- NOT EVERY OTHER CELEBRITY would do it. Some, but not all. I think Paris Hilton did something similar not too long ago.

I couldn’t see some of the younger celebs doing what she did cause what she did came from the heart. She didn’t do it just 2 look good infront of the cameras.

that was a good gesture, and i am so proud of mary j because she has matured and blossomed into extrordinary woman,and i may add, she developed alot of class which is a good thing. for the haters, if she didnt do that for the young lady, then you would say that bitch, or why she cant give back or some dum shit. you cant please people , that is why she write songs like hate it or love it and take me as i am assholes.
