Omarion Signs With Timbaland’s Label

Omarion Signs With Timbaland's LabelIt has been confirmed that following his departure from Sony earlier this year, R&B singer Omarion has signed with hit-maker Timbaland’s record label – Mosley Music Group – an off-shoot of Interscope Records.
The former B2K leader’s debut for the label, his third studio album overall, is slated for release before the end of the year with Timbaland serving as its executive producer. Keri Hilson as well as Justin Timberlake have also been lined up to feature on the project.
Speaking about the new album and label home, the 23 year old said:

“I’m really excited about this project. Timbaland is like family to me, so it’s always great to work with family and I think this is going to be my best album yet. I’m happy to call Mosley Music Group my new home.” {Source}

Here’s hoping things work out for the better this go round. I’ve never doubted Omarion’s talent; I do, however, wonder if he has what it takes to stand out among the Chris Brown’s and Usher’s that dominate his field.

Awww snap! Omarion is going to make some mind-blowing R&B if Timbaland decides to produce something creative rather than something that will top the charts… Less Madonna – More Aaliyah

I’ve been an Omarion fan since he was in B2K. Since Timbaland was behind the success of “Ice Box” which was his biggest hit, I hope this project does really well cause he’s very underrated. I can’t wait to see what they come up with.

    GWAN OMARION!!!!!

There’s no doubt the music will be good. If his label can push him well he can be some major competition for Chris Brown. Usher isn’t even in the game anymore in my opinion. He doesn’t have the same star quality he once had. The music is still alright though. Chris Brown and Omarion are pretty evenly matched though as far as dancing and vocal ability.

i think dance wise omarion is years better that chris brown. chris is completely overhyped.

    i wish O the best

I’m lookin out for a blacker FutureSex LoveSounds.

With Timbo on the joint O is gonna get his first REAL success story! And im behind it 100%!

Omarion, is better than Chris Brown. The problem is the blogs won’t give him a break with the gay innuendo, and because of this he has lost his fan base. good luck O I hope it works out for you.

Timberland aint gonna give that nicca O NEARLY the amount of attention on his album that he gave Timerlake…..Case in Point……if he was confident enough in O’s abilities he wouldnt need to be trailin Timberlakes white a ss on his album or anone elses for that matter….he just wants omarion to off set
those “sell out” rumors…so kiss ur blacker “future s** love sounds” goodbye!

Yeah I think many people under estimate Omarion since Chris Brown came out, I mean its like he’s taking over well he kinda is these lil girls are crazy about him. I wish O good lucky though I’ve been a fan of his since B2K. I love CB and O so they both get my support.

I can’t wait to see that!

And people, stop with the “ouh he’s copying MJ”, “ouh he’s dancing like MJ”, “ouh he’s trying to be MJ”… that kind of opinion is overrated. There’s nothing wrong with O getting inspired by MJ! And I think that all artists in the music industry need to get inspired by greater ones to grow… That’s all!

this is great news for Omarion because he had his most success with “Ice Box” which was produced by Timbaland…Omarion is about to blow up

Omarion should not be compared to anyone personally. He is himself and has a unique style that stands out from everyone. I am extremely glad to here things are working out well for him and cannot wait to hear his third album and see him in concert. Keep up the good work and God bless. #1 Fan – Dyan

I cant wait for an Omari solo album him and bow was great but im ready for his solo spark again. Because when I see O and think damn he he great dancing and vocal wise and he tops and beats chris too me and Omari has a whole fan base. I wanna see Omari again nominated for bet best male r-n-b and viewer choice award. Omari is very successful and i want him to bring it harder like icebox, and O and top ne-yo,and chris and even usher.
    Omarion,Usher are my favorite
chris gets more credit than he deserves hes good but not what people make him mostly little girls and teens like chris. Teenagers, Kids, and Adults like Omari but the kids are the ones on internet the most so Omari bring it
    HARDER THAN EVER
    U THE BEST

I have no doubt that Omarion can stand up against the artists that are out right now. He is very talented and a great performer. I believe that he is really underrated because people tend to lump him into the category of a t***. I believe that his third album will be successful and that his career as an entertainer will have longevity.
May God continue to bless you Omarion in all that you do.
