Rihanna was one of the big winners at the 19th annual MuchMusic Video Awards last night in Toronto Canada. The ‘Umbrella’ singer snagged two awards – one for Best International Video for ‘Don;t Stop The Music’ and one for MuchMusic.com’s Most Watched Video for ‘Umbrella’. She also performed ‘Take A Bow’ at the event. You can watch the performance below:

I really can’t see the problem, so, you don’t like the sound of her voice… don’t buy the records. So you say she sucked jay-z’s d***… he clearly hasn’t been buying all the records and made her no 1 a few time. Stage Presence? LOL…what can you do or bring to such a “bland” record? I mean I like the song, but it isn’t “Don’t Stop the Music” or even “SOS” so energy and movement aren’t NEEDED! Plus she sounds just like the record with some added riffs and strength so it’s nothing different.

Your blog is one of my favorites. I find it refreshing to read entertainment news and gossip that’s not tainted with unnecessary hate and negativity. However, your continuos Rihanna bashing is becoming foolish. You adore many girls with equal or lesser talent than Rihanna who you have been fortunate enuf to interview. Kelly Rowland, for example, is notorius for awful live vocal performances, yet I NEVER read anything negative about her on your blog. Rihanna is very talented. Her voice is unique and distinctive and I think she stands out in an industry now infatuated with exaggerrated presences and over-done performances.
I like Rhianna, but her voice is meant for up-tempo songs.
Her voice is not meant for slow-ballad songs. She doesn’t have the emotion/passion to back up a love song.
I know she’s trying to think outside the box, but Rhianna needs to stick with up-tempo songs becuz they make her voice sound clearful and fresh.
I mean we’re both 20 and I don’t think she’s going through a bad relationship right now so I think she shouldn’t be singing a song like “Take A Bow” & “Unfaithful”!

im a singer, and trust me peeps, shes extremely famous, but her voice is dead average. She couldn’t even hit the hit note from the recorded version (it probably took her like 20 times to get the note) so she sang it lower for the climax. im not tryin to diss her, its just how it is.
