Ok Guys, here goes. Madonna makes more money on her tours cause her ticket prices are thru the roof. Janet charges modest fees cause she wants her fans to go, Madonna only does the rich!

I did see Janet and Madonna from the same seat (in the 2nd row) at the Oakland Arena in 2001. Janet came out with a sappy lame attitude of “OH my, you all really, really, love me and I love you too.” Madonna came out with an FU attitude as in “I’m gonna blow the rough off this house!” Madonna far outperforms Janet–particularly outside the U.S. Poor little Janet could not even go to Europe with this tour because her people would not support her.

Yes, it would be much easier for Madonna to sell out millions, since she charges up the wazzoo for tickets. I paid like 90 bucks for nosebleed seats.

For those who have not seen Janet in concert, it’s no wonder why you underestimate her. She may no longer be doing well on the charts, but when it comes to entertaining live, she delivers! You can feel her energy no matter how far you are. If she raised her prices, it would definitely be worth it to see her!

Madonna charges a lot for her tickets because she knows her shows are worth it. So does everyone who attends them, that’s why she’s already on pace to break her own record as the highest selling female performer in history.

Second, Madonna has already sold out 90% of her shows, which is mindboggling when you consider the fact that she is doing a stadium tour, worldwide- something Janet could never pull off.
