As with last year’s show, That Grape Juice will be providing live on-the-minute coverage of the 2008 BET Awards which take place this coming Tuesday (June 24th) live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. News, arrivals and of course performances, ThatGrapeJuice.net will be the spot for them all. Things have been, somewhat, streamlined from last year show and will consist of three main post areas:* Arrivals: Thorough red-carpet coverage.
* Performances: All the show’s performances minutes (it’s hoped lol) after they’ve aired. Visitors around the time of last year’s show will know what I mean 🙂
* Your Shout: Here you’ll be able to express your thoughts on the show as it’s taking place. Anything and everything goes; randomness, observations, views etc.

If Rhianna ever hopes to be considered a true entertainer, she needs to put in more effort into working the stage and not modeling the latest fashion wear. (No hating) While her vocals have improved sounding like the record is not quite good enough. I think she need to connect with the audience more and give a little energy on stage. Let’s be honest we are not expecting much from her vocals, but at least put a little spunk in your performance.
After the BET awards Sam suggesion. Can u make a Top 5 best dressed list? We the fans would like to get involve in deciding the finest brother and most gorgeous woman strutting their stuff on the red carpet.
How cool would it be to see Michelle Obama at the BET awards? Giving all the former 1st Ladies a run for their money by looking gorgeous on the red carpet.

i dont think bee is gonna performance for some reason, i have the feeling in my gut lol. but if she does ima jump out my seat. Im not expecting much from from riri so if she does bring it i might just call myself a riri fan. Her music is great but the thing keeping me from calling myself a riri fan is the fact that she cant perform(at all). I really hope ciara performs that would be the best. kinda excited to see kanye and ne-yo. i cant stand kanye but he could perform great. I will be putting the tv on mute during chris browns performance. he gives me a head ache doing the same “dance” moves during every performance. probbly gonna put the tv on mute during tpain too if he sings live. and last but not least, i cant wait to see alicia.(but if she peforms teenage love affair ima throw the remote at the t.v.(i hate that song). ill make another comment making my predections lol.. i loveee award showsssssss. =]
