Why is everybody saying “Girl” was written about just Kelly? Kelly was still engaged when they recorded Destiny Fulfilled. Kelly and Roy didn’t break up until the end of 04 or early 05 and DF was recorded summer 04. IMO i think the song was about a mixture of all of their lives.
