^^^^^^ this album didn't need "street beats" it was about the lyrical content, and the messages within. besides the beats were classic and they provided the backdrop needed to carry his lyrics and flow. see that's whats fucked up with hip hop today. rappers dont talk about shit, but throw a hot beat to it and it goes platinum. that is not hip hop!

this album was a classic. if you dont have it, then your not a fan of tru hip hop, and you're missing out. i can lay the entire thing without skipping a track.

umm maybe those that dont have the album yet just havent gotten around to it…i mean theres rent,bills,groceries,kids….i’m just sayin

anyway love nas,good for him…i mean he didnt out do anybody but that is still a good look,i’m playing weezy’s cd out so imma go cop that nas as soon as i get the time because i have heard nothing but great reviews

For it not to be a mainstream album like that, Nas did a good numbers. Lil Wayne and nas are two different rappers. Wayne did a million first week but we all know how record companys are when buyin for the hype that is really wasn’t. It’s alright though. Anyway, Nas put out a good album. Congrats to him.

Good for Nas but I don’t think it’s that big of a deal Lil’ Wayne sold over 1 million in his first week. Nas sold only 187 thousand. Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe Wayne out sold that in the first day.Some people don’t like Lil’ Wayne so they are trying to make this a bigger deal than it really is. I’m neither a hater or a super fan of either on I’m just telling it like it is.

Not great numbers as usual for Nas but at least he got the no.1 spot....

Does he class as underrated or too political??

Love his messages and tracks but he needs them street beatz to support his lyrics
