New Song: Ja Rule – ‘Pushin’ It (ft. Robin Thicke)’

Following the indefinite postponement of Ja Rule’s ‘The Mirror’ LP, many, including myself, have been questioning what exactly is going on with the one-time chart topper. ‘Pushin’ It’, a new Robin Thicke assisted track, presumed to be from the album, surfaced recently. Though the track, which samples Rick Ross’ ‘Push It’, is pretty solid, it leaves a lot to be desired – most especially Thicke’s showing on the hook. With Ja’s career, no doubt, in need of urgent resuscitation, he’s gonna need to come harder than this to come anywhere close to the level of relevance he once commanded.
