This video is a semi-biography that serves as a campaign vehicle for Obama. Note that there are very few images of black people in this video. Has Obama ever been to the hood? Because I don’t see that reflected in this video.

This video makes it painfully clear that Obama is not campaigning as a black presidential hopeful - he is campaigning as a president for all people - which we know is an oxymoron in itself since “all people” don’t see themselves in Obama…

I don’t see myself in Obama either. If I was an American citizen I wouldn’t vote for Obama until he shows me who he is - campaign rhetoric aside. It seems funny that when Bill Clinton was running for president he was more “black” than Obama will ever be.

Is this b*tch for real? Unbelievable. This is about being the next president of United States...hence the word UNITED. Does Obama need be in the hood to validate himself as a black man? It is beyond dumb to think that the next President of the UNITED STATES should represent only black-african americans. For the president to represent only black sets us back from what Martin Luther King saw for us in his dreams as a nation. For us to be black, yt, red or yellow to be united.

Jennifer did a wonderful rendition of the anthem for a LIVE…(again) LIVE (not pre-recorded) performance. I disagree with some saying Obama chose her because she is from Chicago…so not true. He chose her because she represents someone who came from nothing to making a name for herself. By making her dreams come true she represents the american dream as well as Obama representing the american dream. And it does not hurt too that she has awesome vocals. OBAMA 2008!! SEPTEMBER 23 JENNIFER HUDSON!!
