As the September 30th release of T.I.’s ‘Paper Trail’ LP draws nearer, his collabo with Rihanna from the set has surfaced. Bizarrely, the track, which is titled ‘Live Your Life’, samples ‘Dragostea din tei’ by Moldovan group O-Zone (you’ll likely recognize it when you hear it lol). That said, with T.I. as on-form as ever and Rihanna doing her thing on the good, yet lyrically redundant hook, this song surprisingly works.
Word has it this may be T.I’s next single – a choice that may leave some with a salty taste in their mouths, while on the other-hand opening him up to a whole new audience. I guess time will tell.

It works, some how, it works. Rihanna knows her limits and works the little bit that she’s got (that monotone, singing with your accent so that people will be lured in by how “exotic” you are thing that she does). Meanwhile, I see T.I. is coming harder than that first single which is what I expect from him. much better.

It’s alright, not the heat, but not the pits either. I hear more of Rihanna’s accent, which helps cover her weak vocals. She didn’t really bring a lot to the track in my opinion.

I am a huge fan of T.I.’s, but this shit is WEAK and I can pinpoint what’s making the track weak. T.I.’s flow is always on point but Robyn’s weak ass voice and weak ass hook does not do the track justice. He really should’ve written a better hook and featured somebody else. He could’ve featured somebody like Keri (Hilson) on the track and it would’ve been fire!
