You posted Rihanna twice. Beyonce was good, but Christina Aguilera version is so much better. The medley was nice and long. Rihanna really has stepped her stage presence up good performace for her.

LOL!!! Yes Bey!!! Beyonce's tribute to Etta was fantastic! Did you see how Etta was staring at her with PRIDE & letting her and ALL YOU BLOCK HEAD BRAWDZ know… yes she is the one! Rihonna lip-synced… but why? Was she dancing? Is that dancing? WTF did I miss? Vogueing isn't even hard to do & this b1tch managed to screw that up! no lip-syncing needed. Bey & Justin was nice & I hate that boy! Kid Rock & Mary were nice. I think Kid Rock did his thang with that Motown classic! Mariah was fantastic even though I'm not too fond of that song. Chris was ok I guess. I suppose that's why at the end of Justin & Beyonce's performance he & Rihonna was lookin' a bit SALTY!

Solange had a lot of fun and that made me enjoy her performance. I wish Rihanna had sung one of her songs. Beyonce was boring and typical. I haaaate Justin Timberlake, and Chris Brown enjoyed himself as well. Go BEP!, go Mary and Kid Rock….shit go everyone. I even liked Buffy.

I agree w/ 5:10am Christina’s version of At Last was DEF better than Bey’s. BUT Bey’s callabo w/ Justin was pure FIYAH. Even though I hate Justin w/ a serious passion, they did their thing. Can’t hate.

Actually I thought Rhianna did a great job…..much better than some of these other so called artists (miley, etc.) DUFFY was the shit..so much soul, I will buy her music. Beyonce is blessed but I didn’t really feel either of her two performances; I am not a hater. Okay I am, but I know the Lord blessed her and she is talented (stage presence, nice vocals, nice body (don’t think she had her boobs touched, but her nose and her belly, yeah) even so, she can dance etc. but she is really marketed well and is overhyped despite being very, very talented. Solange did a GREAT job; I got the feather ostrich/peacock dress it was a fashion statement. She moved well and sounded great. Mariah, what happened, Fergie, I don’t know.

I believe that beyonce’s performance of aat last was excellent! Actually its hard to believe, but all of the performances we fabulous.
I loved the way justin and Beyonce sang with each other.
Mary J and Kid Rock was also good.
Even Rihanna was okay.
But I truly believe that Beyonce’s voice stole the show. It was controlled, yet forceful, and soulful. I love this girl. She is the best!

This show was so much better than the shitty VMA’s. The performers appeared to have practiced a great deal. This is how a show is supposed to look. The majority of the singers were TALENTED with the exception of Rihanna. Very exciting Everyone, including Rihanna (who Lip synch ed) did a wonderful job. I am so impressed.

Beyonce – I was wondering why the stans of B and Rhi were going at it with each other. Comparing the two when clearly B is more talented. Now I see why. Her rendition of AT LAST was BORING. No soul…nada.
Black Eyed Peas – I like the funky vibe to this song. I’m glad they are back together.
Chris Brown – His tribute was cute. Danced his azz off so he deserved the standing ovation even tho he lipped. But that’s ok when you are DANCING HARD. Not the little hand gestures from certain POP stars (and think that is dancing when really it ain’t sh!t) but complicated footwork. Then and only then it is ok to lip.
Duffy – For some reason I found her voice to be very annoying during that performance of MERCY.
Fergie – I like that there was variety to the show with a little rock n roll. Good performance.
Motown Medely – I enjoyed all the performances even tho I skipped over Justin sissy girly voice phase just a little in the beginning. Mary and Kid Rock killed it!
Mariah – I felt like she was singing over pre-recorded tracks or something. It was ok. TYPICAL.
Solange – I give credit where it is due. She did that. I enjoyed it. *Shocking*
Pussy Cat Dolls – Just ok. Time for a new single ladies.

Beyonce = performed great.
Rihanna = Her best performance in 2008 but it was just OK.
Chris Brown = good
Mariah = I hated her performance. She lip synched to the album version of the song most of her performance and only sang a few notes live. She was also extremely stiff and could not move. Even when everyone came together at the end to sing her mouth was moving but no audio was coming out.
Solange = Great performance
Pussy Cat Dolls = Great performance
Tyra = She needs to tone it down. She looks like a drag queen every time I see her at an awards show but not in a good way.
