New Song: Britney Spears – ‘Womanizer’
Hmmm. Well, it’s very Pop sounding and by that I mean bubble-gum meets the oh-so-popular Electronica sound that is all the rage these days type of ‘Pop’. I’m kinda puzzled as Britney’s last go-round saw her embrace a much more Urban sound – fusing it with Pop. This has me wondering whether she’s alienated/confused her new acquired Urban audience with this. Whatever the case, there’s no doubt this one will be big.
Britney’s new album ‘Circus’ hits stores December 2nd.

The concept is good. However, the lyrics didn’t deliver and after awhile I got lost in the beat not her singing.

Her voice is so computerized that it sounds too unnatural for me, on the verses that is. I recognize her sound on the chorus tho, I just have the strange feeling that someone else is “singing” the verses. Not a good look.

It doesn’t matter at this point how the music sounds…Britney has such a cult following that they will accept anything from her at this point

I’m not trying to hate but this will be huge ummm according to what. Britney only has 1 number 1 song and that was Baby one more time. Most of her songs flop. Gimme More peaked at # 3

It sounds like typical Britney, so I think her fans will be happy with this.
I’m not really a fan, but I think it’s an alright song.

her singles may flop but she seels ALBUMS. at the end of the day albums are whats really important since thats where artists can make money. i rather sell albums than singles tbqh

so brit brit just premiered her new single
and needless to say i was actually rootin for her this go round
seeing as how she’s made the right decisions so far to get her life back on track
…but sadly her new single is hella garbage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its nothin compared to what was on her BLACKOUT ALBUM, and i actually liked some of the songs on that album…
i mean im not h8ing at all, The concept is good. However, the lyrics didn’t deliver and after awhile I got lost in the beat not her singing. Oh and she’s still using the O SO POPULAR repeat everything in the chorus like 50 times to make it catchy thing that was made popular by rihanna’s umbrella…thats old already, and annoying
but i just tend to be a lil more harsh on an artist if their trying to make any type of comeback…hopefully this isnt her 1st single and she has more up her sleave!!!!

I actually think the song isn’t bad at all. THOUGH her voice does sound really deep during the choruses. Kidna odd, nevertheless it will sell.
“Gimme More,” topped the iTunes charts and landed at number 3 on the Hot 100. If this song does the same on iTunes, and somehow Ms. Spears doesn’t get screwed over, she actualyl should be well on her way to having her 2nd US Hot 100, number 1-in liek over 7-8 years.
I must admit, Iwas really excited when I heard about “Radar” [from 'Blackout'] being released as a single. To me it had a lot of potential. But when they scrapped it, I was extremely disapointed. Even if they didn’t wanna film a video for it, they should have released it as an Airplay Only single. I think it still would have done well..

I also think it will be cool to see both Britney and Christina back on the music scene together. Especialyl since it seems liek they both are going for the same genre-being Electro Pop. Whihc is an extremely new sound on Christina Aguilera.
But in all I hope both Britney and Christina the best withing their new 2008 musical adventures, and with their kids!

This song will do well no matter what … why? because of the marketing and everything that is surrounding her right now… the press and public wants a BIG COME BACK…everyone is practically rooting for her…and all of the radio stations are dying to play this track b/c of the anticipation the label has built on it…the radio audience impressions in the following two weeks will be crazy and if the release to itunes is planned out carefully it will be a guaranteed no. 1 and we will all witness one of the greats come backs / marketing strategies in the entertainment biz. . . not to mention that GIMME MORE went to #3 without any promotion with the exception of the HOrrendous VMA performance… this time around it’s pretty much guaranteed that there will be a hot video and some crazy ass promotional performances coming our way

This sucks. Sounds like Miley Cyrus mix with Rihanna (NOT A GOOD THING). Gimmee more was 100 times better…….literally.
idk, Maybe she makes better music when she is going crazy. But I wouldn’t be surprise if it becomes a huge hit because her fans and the media worship her.

this song is BANGIN’! hello britney comeback, and beyonce is to watch for? PLEASE! Britneys album sold 290,000 copies with slim to NONE promotion from her. NO PROMOTION! now, this time around, shes bring it back, full force, beyonce sold 541,000 her first week, but that bitch was EVERYWHERE, now. britney vs. beyonce. Britneys got it hands down. shes back on her feet.

I personally love the song. I think when the video is release, people gradually will start liking the song or even more. That tends to happen when people see a visual. But I wish Britney all the best and she FINALLY has the right people behind her. I’m sure “Circus” is gonna outsell “Blackout” without any problems

IT HAS TO BE SAID BUT THIS SONG WILL BE BIG BECAUSE IT’S BRITNEY AND EVERYONE IS EAGER FOR HER COMEBACK BUT AT THE SAME TIME IT DOESN’T MEAN ITS ANY GOOD. BRITNEY HAS MADE MUCH BETTER POP SONGS THEN THIS, THIS IS NOTHING ON TOXIC EVEN GIMMIE MORE WAS BETTER. I USE TO BE A HUGE FAN OF BRIT BUT NOW I AM BORE BECAUSE PEOPLE KEEP GOING ON ABOUT HER AND THATS ANNOYING.
I WISH HER ALL THE BEST BUT I WISH PEOPLE WOULDN’T KEEP GOING ON ABOUT BRITNEY AND HER COMEBACK NON STOP, LET THE MUSIC DO THE TALKING FROM NOW ON BCOZ, YAWN WE ALL KNOW SHES BACK TO NORMAL AND NOT CRAZY ANYMORE
TIME WILL TELL IF SHE HAD HER DAY OR WILL STILL BE BIG LIKE MADONNA IN YEARS TO COME

This is a good pop song, but I believe that Britney should really get herself together and then release music. What people have to realize is that she is not going to ever be the same. People she has kids!! Did everyone forget about that. She needs to try to gain custody of her kids before she releases new music.
I am not hating. Thus time around I am really rooting for Britney, but I have been over her since 2002.

Anyone who loves this song obviously hasn’t heard “Ooh Ooh Baby” because it sounds just like that, but not as good. TRY AGAIN!
TO THE PEOPLE COMMENTING: why do people keep talking about Britney coming back, she had three single off that wack ass Blackout album that ya’ll bought, and then still won VMA awards for the worst videos she’s every made. Ya’ll obviously will eat up anything she has to throw you, get some standards. It’s pop music yes, but even pop music has standards.

i like it surprisingly for me…i think its kinda cool…and it is urban..but only in some parts of the song (mostly the last minute or so of the song)ah well imma listen to it cuz frankly i listen to what i want to listen to….which means the radio is not involved in my daily life so imma have to put this on the mp3 player lol
