Pink Lands First #1

Pink Lands First #1 It’s not often you see Pink around these sides. However, as one of the few who think she’s actually become better since switching up her sound from R&B, I’m real pleased to see her getting her dues. The singer’s new single ‘So What’ jumped #2-#1 this week on the Billboard chart – marking her first time atop of the chart.

It’s weird thinking back, that despite her ‘Misunderstood’ record being her biggest to date, the album’s single’s didn’t yield any #1’s. I mean great tracks such as ‘Just Like A Pill’, ‘Family Portrait’ etc were all deserving. That said, there’s no point dwelling on what could have been…she’s #1 now. More power to her!

Any thoughts?

I totally have to disagree. I think Pink when she was doing her/the R&B thing, she was way better. She really has the voice to do soulful songs-and should take advantage of it more so. I LOVED her back when "There U Go," & "Most Girls," were out.

And it made me made because she said, she didn't want to be labeled a POPstar, but if she would have kept her sound more urban, she would have technically been R&B. The onyl reason why people would have called her POP, would be because she's white(And thats true).

But furthermore, "So What," is a good song. Interesting. But I kidna have to agree, alot of the older stuff seems more worthly of the Top Spot, even like "U + Ur Hand." That song was catchy as hell…

    Well later's!

    -K.

actually shes still soulful in a more melissa ethridge kinda way ya know!…and anyway love pink…i would just like her to sing something a little more thought provoking, a little more slowed down so we can hear her voice instead of that yelling (which i do like lol)

    Congrats pink!

” #2-#1 this week on the Billboard chart – marking her first time atop of the chart. “

no, making it the first time shes topped the billboard hot100 as a SOLO artist
the lady marmalade remake was her first actual number 1
please source your facts correctly, and i agree with the person who complained about you acting american, its really frustrating, the grammar is painful.
