Some of you may be wondering just where Girlicious have been since the initial impact of their debut ‘Like Me’? Well, their album has yet to be released anywhere other than in Canada where they have been a surprise success. Their latest release over there is ‘Baby Doll’, which I must say isn’t bad. Microwavable, throw-away Pop/R&B at it’s best. The video, even with its ‘limited’ budget, still manages to be mildly engaging too.
Randomness: Isn’t it ironic that these girls were discovered on ‘The Pussycat Dolls Present Girlicious’, yet their singles thus far have trumped everything but ‘When I Grow Up’ from PCD?
What do you think of the video?

What are you talking about? If you compare both debut albums The Pussycat Dolls PCD had at least 3 singles hit the top 10 on the U.S. Billboard charts (Don’t Cha, Buttons, Stickwitu). And their album has gone multi-platinum worldwide including selling 3 million in the U.S. alone.

When they first came out they should have promoted the hell out of their album because all of them can sing and do sing but now I think alot of people are saying there’s already a pussycat dolls group that consists of Nicole, Melody, and the other girls do we need a pussycat dolls imitation? IMO they should all go solo and collaborate with the likes of Justin T., Usher, Missy etc.

I don’t like this song, but I do like this group better than PCD. Each member has a part on most songs and everybody gets a fair amount of face time on the videos unlike PCD. I just think this group needs totally different producers. They shouldn’t sound EXACTLY like PCD. That will turn people off because PCD is still here, and all of the work they’re doing will be done in vain. Plus, the songs I’ve heard so far are not memorable. They won’t last long if they don’t come up with songs that are instant hits.

yea, ya'll need to tell of that to robin 'cause i dont think she gets the fact the we dont need 2 pcds. She says that girlicious is more urban, but i dont think its urban enough to not be compared to the pcd. I think girlicious should ditch robins idea and do something more creative and original.
btw i aint feelin pcd much, its like Nicole & the Pussycat Dolls. Robin u stupid (sorry hone, gotta say the truth!)

I think theyre hot! They really could have chosen a better song to release, but this one is OK!.. And hell thats ironic, okay, theyre like an imitation of the pussycat dolls and they definitely cant beat PussyCat Dolls album: PCD, but Girlicious(the album) is a lot better than that album from PussyCat Dolls now:S..
I downloaded it, before i wanted but it. But when i listened, i was so disappointed!

These girls really need to promote themselves in Europe. I could see them doing well in the UK and Ireland specifically.
