Jennifer Hudson Performs ‘Spotlight’ On Kimmel
Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson hit the promo trail hard last week in support of her self-titled debut. Peep her performance of current single ‘Spotlight’ on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show above. Granted I would have liked to see her ‘work’ the stage more, there’s no denying the rarity of ‘that’ voice in an industry which these days seems to prioritise the visual over talent. Good performance.

The performance was probably the best of this song so far, but i must agree with u^ above in saying that she does need to command more from the audience. Think about it, she's the Whitney, the Patti LaBelle, the Chaka Khan & the Aretha of our lifetime. They all control the stage and are true divas. Eventually, J-Hud will grow into that diva she is destined to be and will run the show as good as the rest! I'm sooooooooooooooooo glad that my generation finally has that power ballad diva that future children of todays generations will look up to in the years to come! J-Hud isn't going anywhere!
