According to our friends over at Rap-Up.com, R&B star Mario is readying his fourth studio album for a March 2009 release. Looking to capitalize on his Dancing With The Stars success, the 22 year old has been in the studio with the likes of Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins, Tricky Stewart, Babyface, Stargate, Polow Da Don and KP Malay, on what he describes as “most personal, colossal album of his career”. Described as as fusing of classic R&B and modern Pop, the as yet untitled set will hit stores via J Records.Mario’s last effort ‘Go!’ still stands as one of my favourite R&B releases from the last few years (‘Music For Love’ still gets plenty of play on my iPod). About the new record, I’m really anticipating it, especially with the stellar list of producers he’s been working with.

are you serious? how the hell is he coming out with a new album and – as you stated – “looking to capitalize on his Dancing with the Stars success”… LOL. that is the funniest thing i have ever heard. he didnt have Success with DWTS! haha. and just like his last album DIEDDD before it was even releasedddd!!! lol i know damn well (actually, for a fact) that his new effort will probably do the same as his last effort.
did he sell like 1,000 copies of his last album? LOL. and yet, SAM you bash MARIAH for selling over a MILLION! hahaha. you’re a joke. you are so BIAS. its ridiculous. I swear, im going to start calling you John McCain. because the shit that comes out of your mouth is a joke.

his last album is always on constant rotation
to many hot singles
he only realised two songs of Go
he should of realised loads more
they would of been hits

I really hope it’s good, I didn’t like his last album GO, but am sure this one will be better, can only hope and he needs to promote him self when the album drops, he did little for Go, although it was high stadards like turning point

Yeah, you are a lie, stupid. It's not the sales of the alubm, it's the QUALITY! That's why music sucks these days. Go! was easily one the best R&B albums of 07 (followed by others like Dream's "Love/Hate").

The state of R&B music sucks in the U.S! The radio only plays the same club banger commercial style. artist like mario start to fade in some people's eyse, because there not a fan of r&b music, but a fan of pop. Mario has his pop tinged side of music but he still keeps to his love of r&b and soul. most r&b artist don't achieve major success. Mario has in the past and hopefully he returns to it.

I love Mario, and I have been a fan since day one. His last album was fire, I just wish that he received the acknowledgment that he deserves, plus the promotion on his last album was horrible.

Mario is definitely one of my favorites and his last album was in constant rotation last year, and I’m gonna have to agree with Sam; “Music For Love” was definitely in heavy rotation on MY iPod! I cant wait for the new album!

The cd GO is off the damn chains.. Mario knows hoe to perfect his craft and all this hatred ppl are havin on him is doing nothin more then building him up. My aunt works with him on J records and i have heard a couple of songs but “Promise Land”, “INSIDE of YOU” and “LOVE or LOST” are some hot as songs. But im ready 2 hear it.. I will definitely buy it. People need to listen to his words in the songs and i promise you that you will like them.
