New Song: Christina Milian – ‘Us Against The World’

Christina Milian - 'Us Against The World' Originally set to debut next week, Christina Milian’s brand new single ‘Us Against The World’ surfaced today – and I must say that I’m pleasantly surprised. Produced by Mad-Scientist, the cut is a solid power-ballad, which sees Milian exert herself vocally more-so than we’ve heard before. I’m a bit perplexed at the reasoning behind releasing this now, and the album having tentative ‘early 2009’. Anyway…
Hit or Miss?

^ your face is deceiving cuz If you could honestly look yourself in the mirror after writing that mess, then you’re obviously looking at someone else’s pitcure frame. This song is brilliant and definitely shows why Christina will finally be the success she was destined to be!

    SAM,

MySpace Records is smart to release this single so early from the albums release. For one it re-introduces us to Christina Milian as the artist, not the actor. 2nd, this single may be easier to get adds on Pop radio. Thus maybe bringing in a higher charting Billboard Hot 100/Pop 100 single. 3rd if this single fails and or doesn't pick up amongst fans then she still can release a more upbeat single more intended for an R&B/Hip Hop/Club(Dance) audience.

So yeah to me I think it is a really smart move to market an artist such as Christina M.

The song was OK from a first listen to me. I think the beat was really hot, though the repetivive, "you you you…" really got annoying quick!

Anywho for some reason I like Christina M. as an R&B artist. So for that reason I wish her the best with this effort. Though I cannot distincly say this time around she'll succeed or exceed her signature single, "Dip It Low."

That ‘you, you, you’ back vocals sound just like Mariah… And I like it… 🙂

This will not cut through the clutter of other songs out there. She has some work to do if she plans on becoming a household name. This is a good album filler at best. My prediction is that it won’t even crack the top 20.

    nice!

not bad! not a #1! she sounds much better vocally then she ever has! I have to agree with some of you up top the you part way too over used!! However, I wish her the best!
