New Song: Sugababes – ‘No Can Do’

Published: Sunday 19th Oct 2008 by Sam

With UK trio the Sugababes latest LP ‘Catfights & Spotlights’ hitting stores tomorrow, it has been confirmed that ‘No Can Do’ will serve as the second single from the record. The Motown/Old Skool inspired track is, put simply, Pop brilliance. Top notch offering from the ladies – which is more than can be said for its predecessor ‘Girls’.

Check out the Keisha, Heidi and Amelle performance of the song on T4 earlier today:

What do you think of the song / performance?

I think this song is garbage, just like the album. Why was this picked as a second single!? Shoot, why was “Girls” picked as the first!? “You on a good day” should’ve been made a single – that track is bangin’!! As is “Nothing’s as good as you”.

I’m not feelin’ the Sugababes at the moment. I used to stan for these girls up until they dropped ‘Change’ and the musical cracks started to show. ‘Taller in more ways’ will forever be that crack until these girls can fix up and come better.

I wonder what’s goin’ on with Heidi. She barely wrote anything for the new album and she gets less air time on ‘Catfights and spotlights’ than she did on ‘Angels with dirty faces’ – where-as Amelle gets as much mic time as Keisha. Sometimes more on certain songs.

Well…i luv the girls…n i just think this album is wayyyy better than Change…no matter hw many haters there gon come out no one can deny they’r the best female group in the whole world…since DC r no more…but even when there were DC they were so different that couldn’t really pick a fav…luv them both fo life…n the lyrics on these songs?? Beautiful meanings n harmonies…Truce is probably the best ballad they ever recorded…just hope that in the next record, when they work with timbo he just don’t screw them or change who they r…i’m hoping he’ll make them cool songs like “Push the buttton”…as i said…i hope…lol
