I actually love the whole concept of this new Beyonce CD and CD covers, she is showing that SEX (Rihanna) does not have to be the only factor for you to have a singing ability or talent what ever you want to call it.
If people would open their eyes and see she is making a much needed statement. It’s time we bring music back to where it is suppose to be; for the talented ones.
I get you Beyonce and I feel you. Single Ladies shows some sexy but it also shows talent…
She always have a meaning in what she does, it just depends on if you get it or not. If she would have had a so called theme (in which she does) they would still talk crazy about it.

As male who prefers R&B today over hip hop other than classic Nas, Jay-Z 2 Pac Notorious B.I.G. Rakim and many others. I can say I was anxiously awaiting to hear what Beyonce has in store for us this go round. I just finished my sneak peek and I have to say the Beyonce side is more mature material for her than ever.I can honestly say I was not impressed beyond that. However there are some decent tracks. Stand out cuts If I were A Boy, Broken- Hearted Girl, Halo. On the flip even though I feel Sasha Fierce shows no growth or originality considering Bee is held in such high standards this will be the winner in today's music market which tells me today's music needs the circus rather than the substance. Stand out cuts; Sweet Dreams, Diva, Single Ladies Overall I predict that Bee will do well in the sales department because she has a cult following that will not fail her but overall this album seems very bland at times and lacks the fire that of her debut Dangerously In Love. But this is a Beyonce world get down or lay down.

The beyonce side i love alot more. I can listen to those songs throughtout the day. While the sasha songs I would play right before I go to the clubs. Actually i love the whole album and i believe that this is beyonce best work to date. Dangerously in loe was good, but her voice was not as strong and mature as it is today. On that CD it was kind of a nasal type of singing but on this CD, Her voice is stringer.
I like this. I think she did an excellent job.
Favorites from the CD: Broken hearted girl, satellities, Halo (excellent song),Smash into you, Ava Maria, and If I were a boy. Sasha Side: Single ladies, Radio, Sweet Dreams, Diva.
All in all seeing the audiences she captures this album coers everyone, men, women, children, and teenager (ehich this is how music is supposed to be). I’ll give it a A-

This album sounds like something she threw together and to defend it she decided to go with an alter ego.
I am all for good music regardless of the artist, but lets be real this album sounds like pure garbage..maybe 3 good songs.
Now, I will not say it will not sell because she has a fan base, so her CD will be pushed.

I like that its different but i prefer this sound with other kind of artists.

Where the other tracks like Ego, Scared & Lonely(Album Version), That's Why You're Beautiful etc…
The album is good apart from the Sasha half..
Halo is fire and i actually like the different parts of her voice she uses in Ave Maria..
Overall an OK album and Sasha needs to just keep it on the stage…
I do agree with some peeps who sayin that CD1 is sounding like a Leona CD but its good though..
I'll stick by Bee as she can't always stay in the BoX with her style of albums but i do think she should keep certain elements that got her where she is in the first place.
A few artist out are calling their music R&B when its sooo watered down into pop culture that i have 2 disagree…

I guess great minds think alike because I agree with your analysis as well. I think the "Leona-sounding" songs are good songs, but they just don't fit her. I think Sweet Dreams/Beautiful Nightmare did the best job of combining the euro/pop sound with the Beyonce sound. But the rest of the I Am songs are just garbage to me. I see she jumped on the pop bandwagon (very uniconic imo) but she should have kept a bit more of the R&B. You have to remember what your original fan base is.

i think the album ok..theres some outstanding tracks like halo, ave maria, satellites and sweet dreams but then theres some really bad tracks like video phone
i wouldnt call it a leona-like cd..leona songs are quite dull…beyonces voice jus makes the songs sound that bit better – her voice is so pure and forces u to listen to her!!
overall its a good album, just another solid effort..but nothing wowwyy…its like the ’survivor’ album for destiny’s child..jus maintaining same level

I think its funny that people are saying that she’s stealing and biting…uh, she’s been doing this long enough and has become such a success at it that I don’t think she has to steal anything from anyone. There’s enough room for people to appreciate Leona Lewis, Rhianna, Alicia Keys and the other talented R and B singers out there who put their hard work into creating a piece of art. Beyonce’s doing her thing, trying some different things. Don’t put her in a box. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it.

I will not be wasting my money on this. More power to those that will, but I can’t do it. She recorded over 70 songs and these are the results? I don’t hear the growth she claims she has experienced as a singer. The ‘Beyonce’ side was ok, but boring. She didn’t hire the right producers to give her some soulful, memorable ballads and The ‘Sasha Fierce’ side is the same old chicken head anthems from B Day.

well i think Satellites and Video Phone are the poorest on the album. and most people here will agree with me that the stand out is HALO (ohhh! after this word i just can’t stop singing! lol)! I also like Broken-Hearted Girl and Sweet Dreams. oh and I don’t have to mention If I Were A Boy, have I? ;P overall 9+/10

Can sum1 tell me the point of releasing a two disc album with only 11 tracks total? I know she’s going for the whole double personality concept, but come on now…
Beyonce’s side is ok nuthing really speacial sounds like some left over tracks from rhianna and leona lewis’ albums. There isnt a ballad on here that hooks me instantly like her last two albums (Flaws and All, Irreplaceable, Dangerously in Love)
Sasha’s side…GG its a hot mess who would have guessed Single Ladies would have been the higlight? Everything sounds like something I’ve heard be4 Single Ladies = Get Me Bodies, Diva = Milli, and Video Phone sounds like sum shit Danity Kane would have put out…you know if they were still 2gether.

It’s okay…but most times I don’t like Bey when I first hear her then she grows on me and I can bump her music on the highway and have a different appreciation… she does her thing love it or hate it…
I will say she rocked that Ave Maria song… that was my wedding song I let my husband choose and hearing the man sing in his opera voice while I was walking grated my nerves. I wish Bey had this version out when I married..lol..
One of the songs she sounded like she was yodeling but she does that and it works for her… I love that she used more range in her voice in the Bey tracks… and she took more risks with her Sasha tracks Radio is ghettofab twang in the beginning and fun….I don’t like the way SweetDreams started but toward the middle I was bopping… did she say “coochie pleasure”? lol… overall I like it and will be purchasing and I’m sure all except maybe one song will grow on me…
