New Song: Beyonce – ‘Roc’
This weekend saw the ‘net debut of a new Beyonce track titled ‘Roc’. Said to be a cut recorded during the recording sessions for current album ‘I Am…Sasha Fierce’, the mid-tempo track was produced by Stargate. About the song itself; I am liking this one a lot. Bouncy embraced a much more mainstream (some would argue generic) sound on the slower-paced ‘I Am…’ side of her current album, so it’s real refreshing to hear her do her thing once again on a slower paced R&B offering.
That said, it’s the lyrics that make this one a winner. Very heartfelt and genuine-seeming. Wonder who she is singing about LOL…

great one – beyonce is truly the Queen of her game
really a true artist – not like that hag britney who has no looks, no vocals, no dance moves, no lyrics
no wonder its only these stuck-up UK people who are so into a white trash like britney
GO BEYONCE

I really love this song. It is something when a woman is in love. We know who ROC is. And I love Britney as well. She has two children and went through a really public breakdown and a lousy husband. For her to be where she is now in such a short time, she is a picture of survivor. Go Britney and Beyonce.

This is a rewrite of Ready for the worlds song “let me love you girl” from the 80’s . The verse melody in the first verse is a steal but it does get more original as it goes.actually it isnt bad but the potential legal issues probably kept it of the cd.

Great song, I love it, better than some songs that finally made the album, sad about that, but still a great album. Hope to get more unreleased stuff in time

Good song . . . SAM stop tripping . . . we all know who her ‘ROC’ is . . . as far as it being RFTW – Let Me Love You Down . . . I doubt there would have been legal issues, seeing as how those guys probably would have loved a few royalty checks if it had made the album . . . LOL . . . either way . . . good job!!!

This song is crazy boring. I tried to listen to it yesterday and couldn’t get through because it quickly became annoying like something nagging in the background and I was like “WHAT IS THAT?” because I forgot that I had it playing as I was strolling down the site I was on. I stopped it asap, it’s such a simple song.

Bee delivers as always. Yes, Sam we know who’s she’s referencing…it makes me mad because he can’t even acknowlege her (terrible interview he had on Angie Martinez’ new show on BET)…anyway, I digress..Bee never disappoints. She’s the best.

I love Beyonce forever but i hate when artist leave great songs off a cd and then after u purchase they leak them out. im enjoying the cd but it just feels incomplete hopefully she has plans for this cd like she did with B day to make it grow on people. No matter what she does ill always support her. Giva signing off

Womanizer may have hit #1 quick but it also fell out the Top 10 quick as well. Bey's new single IF I WERE A BOY had been in the top 5 for about 6 weeks now. Sitting at #3 for the 3rd non-consecutive week. SINGLE LADIEs is at #2 from #28 last week and about to be #1 next week. GO BEY>

U guys are really blowing these boring tracks up! These songs are incredibly mediocre and slow but I think If I Were A Boy and Halo probably is the best Ive heard so far.
