Granted the ‘Beyonce’ side of the record sounds pretty impressive, the ‘Sasha Fierce’ side sounds like it’ll be the real winner. I joke not when I say every single track from the Sasha CD sounds like the hotness. From the Darkchild produced ‘Scared of Lonely’ to the swagger-fied ‘Diva’ (which sounds like a female ‘A Milli’), ‘Video Phone’, next single ‘Ego’ and ‘Radio’ all sound great. Hell, the whole thing has me anticipating the record that much more. November 18th, well 17th for us UK folk couldn’t come any sooner.

Anyone that listens to this album and claims that it’s the same thing as in the past is a nut! This shit right here is FRESH. The Beyonce disc sounds like nothing Beyonce has done before. It’s amazing and so far the critics are loving the Beyonce disc and I can see why. SOngs like Dissappear, Halo, Satellites are such jewels just based off of the clips.
The Sasha disc is also amazing. Video Phone, Ego, DIVA, so many hot tracks. Bey really done did it this time. She could have a classic on her hands.

Based off the snippets, I'm liking it! I also disagree with those who say this sounds like her previous work. The "Beyonce" side is like nothing she's ever done; its not r&b, not really pop either…kind of a mix of both w/ alternative. Definitely, she's stepping out of the box on this one, which, I think is commendable! True artist will take risk, regardless of what the outcome may be. The "sasha fierce" side is great! I love the beats, love the LYRICS, I like that side of her. Since she doesn't open up too much in interviews, it's good that she does it through her music. Regardless of what anyone says though, best believe that once it drops, this album is gonna SELL, and her tour is gonna be HUGE!!!

the songs are TOTALLY different for her.
and yes, to those haters, i do agree to some extent that the ‘i am…’ part sounds a bit the same when she does that thing when she extends the end of her words. but hey, i LOVE it when she does that.
her vocal capability has surely matured and grown. very evident.
the ‘sasha’ part is intriguing, cause it sounds fun but i need to hear the songs in full to like them more. nonetheless, both parts are one of the hest things she’s ever done before.
i have to disagree with sam tho.. haha. i prefer the ‘i am…’ part better.
it gives me super chills. i can’t wait for the album to be released.

I’m not even a Beyoncé fan, but I’m kinda feelin’ what I’ve heard so far. I don’t think it sounds anything like B’Day really, I think it sounds way better, but everyone’s entitled to their opinion.
I’ve LOVED Beautiful Nightmare/Sweet Dreams from the get-go so I am so effin’ glad she decided to put it on the album, lol. The only one I’m not really feelin’ is ‘Diva’…but it’s only like a 30 second preview, so I’ll wait ’til I hear the rest of the song before I judge it fully. Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised with this. Of course it’s not perfect and it’s not the greatest imo, but there’s just something about it.

Not really impressed with the previews but will definately check out the full version when it is released, ‘If I Were A Boy’ and ‘Single Ladies’ seem to be definately the best cuts on there which makes sense for their release – ‘If I Were A Boy’ will get people checking for this album so it will do well regardless. All the songs on the ‘Beyonce’ side sound the same but can’t deny her voice is amazing. ‘Scared Of Lonely’ sounds HOT. But I would listen to Rihanna’s ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ over this any day.

A lot of people said this about B-Day and it sold over 6mil with only 1 #1 hit, so hopefully there will not be any lawsuits to hender sales.

This is a grown up CD of what little I'm hearing and it is catering to a vast area of people, country, rock, R&B, pop, even opera somewhat, so this is different.

First and formost I AM NOT A BEYONCE FAN… But, Crazy In Love was a wicked song. However, when she dropped Deja Vu is was really just “Crazy In Love pt. 2″ The song had the Same formula and insturmental backings as it’s successorso right there I thought “Ok, she’s a one trick pony.” B’Day was a solid effort, it had people dancing and lovin her but really, EVERY SONG on that album was a chicken head anthem. Deja Vu, Suga Mama, Upgrade U, Ring The Alarm and everything in between the album should have been called TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME (Like The Movie) because every song was either for her chickenhead fans, fellow gold-diggers or educational tips on how to manipulate a dude. So, with her latest effort I am NOT surprized by the same writing process,HOWEVER, I am surprized the musical production is so bland. With her previous work she was able to hide her lack of creativity with hot beats. PLEASE TAKE MY ADVICE AND DON’T BUY HER ALBUM, I SAY THIS A WORKING PUBLICIST FOR SONY BMG CANADA.

I am a huge Beyonce fan . . . why, because the girl is talented as hell and puts on an amazing performance. I listened to the songs and I hnoestly can’t form an opinion because the ballads somewhat run together and you can’t get a clear listen. I will wait until the album drops and buy it, the same I do for all the artist I support. Once I have listened, I will give an opinion. Some of you guys need to be honest with yourselves and asmit the girl has one of the best voices of her time. Whether you like her music or movies or neither, stiopping taking away fro mthe fact that she puts on a fabulous show and sings her ass off.

The previews are OK, nothing special. I ‘m wondering if Beyonce will give herself songwriting credit for “Smash into You”. That song was previously recorded by Jon McLaughlin called “Smack into You”. Her song- writing is questionable to me now.

SMGDH, why would you waise your money and buy three copies of a CD in the middle of a recession?
As said before, this is a mess. I’ll bootleg it, but that’s it. The previews are horrid, nothing but Bday leftovers.

OMG!! Beyonce is that you girl? She sound mad different on half of these songs. I dunno if its a different swag she feelin or what? But she had me thinkin her cd was finna be wack but I guess I was wrong. I might have to spend my little bit of change I got left for her album lol. Alright Beyonce for switchin it up. My likey! lol

Note to EVERYONE: a diva is NOT a female version of a hustla. And Video Phone…this coming from a grown ass woman who just got married and supposedly has evolved into a what? Someone will have to fill in the blanks because i just don’t get it. Beyonce did some biting for Sasha Fierce. She’s catering to the teenagers of today instead of young women her age. This girl has a lot of growing to do cuz that ring has done nothing so far. And how is exactly that Beyonce’s music is better than Solange’s, who by the way dropped an amazing album?!

I found this comment in the critique section interesting “swagger-fied ‘Diva’ (which sounds like a female ‘A Milli’)”. Isn’t that called swagger-jacking and not swagger-fied?!?!?!?
Moving along, I only liked Halo. The rest was blah. Some of you are right that you can’t tell by 30 second snippets, but I am one of those types who only needs that much to know if I like it or not.
None of the songs are as memorable or emotional as If I Was A Boy, which wasn’t even written by her.
This album reminds me of B’Day and that is there is only ONE song that is really good and the rest is filler.
I don’t see another “Irreplaceable” saving this album, but looking at the comments from the die-hards, they will scoop it up regardless.
By the way, hater is so played out. Can you find something new, learn to accept comments that are different from your own or just plain STFU!!!!!!!!
I come here to listen and critique just like you and like you I will leave my comments. They may not be what you like, but the last time I checked the world didn’t end because of it……mmm k?

I must be honest when I first heard the snippets off the album I wasn't sure. I however decided to listen to it a few more times and now most of it seems to be growing on me! It is very different from that of Bday, a lot more mature. I think the reason it has received so much negative criticism is due to how different it is to most commercial material at the moment and Beyonce is usually associated with the contemporary crowd. The concept of a split album is a brilliant idea! Not everyone is a fan of Beyonce's ballad stuff… Personally I am and I think that this album has some of the best of her ballads ever! Her voice also seems to have matured in some ways, it sounds as though she is a lot more comfortable with her vocal range. Bday although a fantastic album had a rushy feeling very high strung in some places. I would even go as far as to say that the album is very diverse as it seems to be influenced by so many different styles and genres of music. Beyonce seems to have shifted a little bit away from the 'Deep' R&B and soul found in that of 'Bday' Halo definitely stands out for me, it really introduces the idea of a fresh style ballad for Beyonce. 'I Am' being compared to 'Circus', Britney's new album is really stupid; they are like chalk and cheese! I being a fan of both artists can say with definite certainty that they are by no means similar, Britney's album is going to be fantastic no doubt about that but people will listen to that album for different reasons. I think that people have forgotten what music is all about at times, it is about expression of the artist and if you don't like what they have expressed then clearly you don't relate to it. Just remember you don't have to listen to it and you are not obligated to buy it.
I have not downloaded any songs; I want to wait for the album to be released.
