Britney Spears Does Good Morning America
Following her whirlwind promotional trip to Europe this past week, Pop superstar Britney Spears celebrated her birthday today (as well as the release of ‘comeback’ LP ‘Circus)’ on Good Morning America with two special performances. She also announced that she she will be touring on home soil with the Pussycat Dolls as special guests. Check out Britney’s performances of ‘Circus’ and ‘Womanizer’ below:

Good stuff, if only for the energetic atmosphere and stage spectacle. Though she’s just about doing enough to make this album and project more generally be her ‘Mariah Emancipation Comeback’ I’m gonna need ol’ Britney to give me some umph in future showings. Is it me or could she move a lot better before? I’m talking Janet-esque moves with some serious stage swagger? Time will tell if the so-so’ness of her recent showings is nothing more than ‘rust’ or a case of us having to make do with the Diet Coke Britney…kinda like how we’re making do with the almost expired Mariah Carey. Things that make you go hmmm…
What do you think of the performances?
Will you be buying ‘Circus’?
Has Britney still got ‘it’?

to me her rehearsals are crazy good, like her old selfbut when she gets around the public she doubts herself which i guess is only normal after everthing that happened. i do believe that as time goes on and she gets more comfortable with herslef and others sh’ll be back to her old self but all in all she’s still got that huge star presence
little jj is so presh!

OK, lets just be real..these performances were not that good, i agree with Sam..she seems a little rusty…like shes not moving like that old Britney! Which isnt to be expected after everything shes been through, but i feel like if your going to make a come back, MAKE A DAMN COME BACK! But i am team Britney and i want nothing more then for her to succeed…so hopefully she will get better and better…but these last 2 performances Sam posted were like…arghh..idk Brit maybe its time to retire, its all or nothing, fans wont except anything less.

I think she’s still fearful onstage since the VMA peformance. She’s still not confident onstage. Like someone said, she’s amazing in rehearsals but not so much when she gets on stage. But I feel come time for the tour she will be doing the damn thing again. I think she’ll get her confidence back.

These are her best performances yet, but let’s be honest, they weren’t great (well imo anyway). And do they really expect us to believe that they were live, lol?…Well, whatever, Circus was definitely the best performance of the two. I don’t know what it is, but it’s like when Brit performs ‘Womanizer’, she just can’t be bothered.
She needs to fix up fast or this ‘comeback’ will be pointless because she won’t get that far with performances like these. She’s already getting slammed for her ‘X Factor’ performance last week. Like someone else said though, hopefully as she performs more and starts feeling a little more comfortable and whatnot, she’ll put more oomph into her performances and show everyone that she still has ‘it’ because that girl could really dance.

Sam you are a fucking hypocrite. you watch the heffa lip sync through all he performances and you enjoy it.
yet you hate on Rihanna who sings live. go figure. maybe you think if its white its alright. I think you have a color complex problem

wow i dont want to sound mean but that was crappy ive seen better performance in high-school talent showcases. i mean come on people is this really what we are settling for in music and performances. i understand that shes coming back from her crazy moments but still if your not ready your not ready and it obvious shes not ready yet. i aint mad but i def dont think it was good at all. she need to jsut go and practice and find her good space or place on stage and work with different choreographers cuz her show as a whole doesn’t fit her yet!

I agree, I think Britney is slowly getting back in the feel of performing again. So hopefully her choregrapher that making these routines step her game up. I wish Wade was around RIGHT NOW but unfortunately we will have to wait til to tour to see what she and Wade come up with. But as a Britney fan, I feel Britney is a lil rusty but I know she can and will do better.

I like Britney Spears. I could not wait to watch her performance. However, when Britney danced she seemed stiff and relied on her dancers to carry the performance. IMO I know she has not performed for a big audience for long time. I just want to see the Britney that performed the Toxic song during the VMAs. The show was good but not great. I wanted to see her perform at her concert next year, but she does not come to my city. She has to start dancing again for her tour if the Pussy Cats Dolls are opening up for her. I enjoyed listening to her new album, and I am sure she HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Mon, 09 Nov 2009 01:43:15 GMT Server: Apache X-Pingback: http://thatgrapejuice.net/xmlrpc.php Connection: close Transfer-Encoding: chunked Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1
