Sometimes it takes being away from the situation and looking at it from a distance. She saw what was going on all along and she probably thought because she stayed loyal that they would be loyal to her. Those people are nuts and their karma is getting ready to come back to them. She does not want to be attached to that train. Because it’s coming. Look at Beyonce album and this movie.

When is her new album due? I know it’s slated for an 09 release,but when in 09? I hope it’s first quarter. Hopefully she’ll be under new management by then and we’ll actually see this project being properly promoted like Anonymous,Dec.4 @ 4:03 am said.

This is great news! I pray that it’s true because I’ve been rooting for her since the Simply Deep days. I love her voice and her two records were really good. They just weren’t promoted right. So, I hope she ditches Mathew Knowles and gets Simon for her career’s sake. She deserves success and superstardom, just like her group member.

Good for her! I’m so glad that Kelly will not repeat the life of Mary Wilson of the Supremes…Being seen and not heard. I love her and I think she’s adorable. i can’t wait to let my daughters dance to her music. I think that she is a very positive image for young girls of all ages and cultures today. Kelly, if your’e reading this…please know that we can;t wait to buy your cd here in South Carolina.

The problem with Kelly is not that she lacks talent. Clearly she’s talented. The problem is not that she lacks star quality or that ‘X’ factor. Clearly she’s a star with some form of appeal;she’s been making music for over a decade,and has six years of solo stardom under her belt. The issue is not her looks. She’s one of the most attractive women in the industry. In fact she’s gorgeous. The issue is not her body. Her body is amazing (breast implants or not). The problem with Kelly is she spends more time ‘big-upping’ everyone else than she does herself. She’s always talking about what an “incredible” manager Matthew is. She brags on Tina Knowles. At one point in time she couldn’t make it through an interview without mentioning Beyonce’s name. She even praises Solange for her song writing skills. She’s always giving others props. She never gives herself enough credit for anything. Unfortunately,Kelly’s most admirable quality is also her biggest draw-back. She really is humble. She doesn’t just pretend to be. She’s modest and even meek,but that sometimes makes her look passive and inhibited. Kelly has an incredible voice but she often holds back when she sings. Where as Beyonce does not have the best voice in the world but Beyonce is an uninhibited singer. She never holds back and she controls her voice well. Not to mention she has great showmanship. Kelly Rowland,in my opinion,is a raw performer. She’s spontaneous which is both good and bad. Her performances are fun and at times passionate,While Beyonce’s are more mechanical. EVERYTHING Beyonce does is rehearsed. Even her ballads are choreographed. Both these women have commonalities but they also have contrasts. One is,Beyonce has no problem taking all the credit. She had no problem taking it in DC and she certainly has no problem taking all of the limelight as a solo artist. Kelly needs to learn how to be a little self-centered. Make people respect you as a solo act by carrying yourself like a solo act. Stop referencing Destiny’s Child. Don’t mention anyone with the last name Knowles. Don’t hold back on your craft,and don’t let the audience sing more of your song than you do. If Kelly portrayed her self as a star maybe people would see her as a star. Then,maybe they’d buy her records and pay to see her in concert. No one wants to support someone who seems content playing second string all of the time.

IT SEEMS THIS GIRL IS MAKING WAVES EVERYWHERE BUT AMERICA. However, in America people know who Kelly is they just aren’t aware of everything Kelly is doing because promo for her sucks here. I have always supported Kelly. I have all three of her records: Simply Deep,Ms.Kelly,and Ms.Kelly Deluxe Edition which I had to order off line as an import because it was not sold in the U.S.

I'm actually anm African…And Kellys huge here.it's overwhelming> Wen we heard d news on Mtv africa,we celebrated by playing her videos all day(yesterday). Why do u think she closed d mama awards.They saved d best 4 last(like this & work) she nailed it……….Hope its true dat she's ditched Mathew..She deserves d best….Cheers
