This clip of R&B songstress Keyshia Cole singing the US national anthem – The Star Spangled Banner – at the Oscar De La Hoya boxing match over the weekend has been making the rounds on the ‘net. Quite understandably too; Keyshia’s choice of outfit and ‘that’ hair has me thinking she got dressed in the dark. That said, even the vocals make for interesting convo. IMO she was good for the most part, yet the over the top adlibs and runs kinda messed it up a bit.

AW man 1st her mom then her sister now her! Its not to late to get off that stuff KEyshisa! Everyone been talking about her but in a negative way.
She looks like the crack whitney mixed with Tina Turner. Vocals were OFF KEY as usual and just bad! Beginning part was best! And that wasnt even all that sounded rushed. Im convinced Beyonce man Tacky Tina Knowles dressed her.

The singing was bad . . . but not as bad as everyone was saying . . . I think she tried too hard . . . because her singing has actually gotten alot better from that of cd 1 . . . now that ensemble she was rocking was a definite HELL TO THE NO!!!! Just wrong on so many levels . . .

Keyshia has 2 re-collect herself cus she failing her live game.
Her vocals have 2much potential for her 2b sounding rushed and un-controlled.

I pray that Keyshia gets it together quick! Not such a good look, especially right before the release of her album. She look a hot ass mess, and she sounded worse. All those damn key changes! And she probably didn’t even realize she switched keys like that! Poor Keyshia! Get it together! She is quite talented, so she should be able to bounce back from this one, but DO IT QUICK!

wow… As it is people can’t wait for the anthem to end but Kei dra a a a a a a agged it out because those 3 minutes or so felt like 10min after the one minute mark…lol.
